Black Turtle replied calmly. "Older than us? What do you mean?" The white tiger seemed intrigued by the recent development. Black Turtle explained everything he had discussed earlier with the blue whale. The three of them, who had heard everything, were stunned and felt as though they were dreaming. Could there be another creature in the Xiwang world stronger than them? If so, why had they never tried to communicate with us?

Emma was at a loss of words as she heard him. A wolf hunter? What the hell was that supposed to mean? She watched his face for any signs of remorse or guilt, but she found none. When I hit it several times in a row, I pressed play to hear another slower, low pitched whistle. ‘This one is to ask them to drive animals your way to hunt. Make sure you practice them all. You will need to know them. Remember, sweetheart, the bears are not to be harmed. Maverick will pass away soon and when he does, Carson will be alpha. I closed my eyes as grief welled up in me and threatened to choke me.

It indeed remained stationary on the surface. "Let's go check it out." Victor said. Windfall cautiously swam towards the whale. "Where do you guys come from?" When Victor and Windfall were within 300 meters of the whale, it asked. Windfall stopped moving. "Hexiom. Do you know it?" Victor asked a bit hesitantly. Although the whale was at least a mutant, Victor wasn't sure if it would know about Hexiom. "I know Hexiom." Victor was slightly amazed. He actually heard a hint of joy in the whale's voice.

Straight toward me. Gabriel turned instantly. Too late. The arrow pierced my shoulder hard. Pain exploded through me. I screamed. Gabriel caught me tighter immediately while blood spilled across his hands. Silver burned like fire beneath my skin. Everything inside me shattered. The mark on my wrist exploded with light. The ocean answered. Massive waves crashed violently into the hunter fleet while the Sea Guardian roared again. Ships broke apart instantly. Hunters disappeared beneath the water screaming. The Hollow attacked wildly now, destroying everything in its path.

I look up at Gunner again, “What’s your wolf’s name?” He smiles, “Hunter.” I laugh. “Gunner and Hunter?” He chuckles but nods. “You guys were literally made for each other.” I tell him and he nods his head agreeing, bending down to whisper in my ear. “Which is precisely why this will be over quickly. I give it fifteen minutes once the wolves start searching.”

His scales looked rougher, and he had spikes lining his back along his spine. His talons were longer than the others, and his wings looked like they were tipped with ice shards. “Hunter is the last of his kind,” Mildred said low enough for only me to hear. “He’s beautiful. He looks like he is covered in pieces of ice.” I said in awe. She let out a laugh.
