What Does Fan Fiction Mean Novels & Stories

“Define good.” He chuckled. “I saw the shoot photos. The internet’s basically writing fanfiction about you two.” “Yeah, I noticed.” “Gotta admit,” he said, grin widening, “the chemistry’s obvious.” I threw him a look. “You finished?” He raised his hands in mock defense. “Just saying — you’ve got history. People feel it. It sells.” “I didn’t ask it to,” I muttered, bouncing the ball against the wall. “The story’s supposed to be about the comeback. Not her.”

Reddit fans stared at the pitch-black screen and listened to the blowing sound, collectively imagining ten thousand words of plot. 【What is there that I, a distinguished VIP member, am not allowed to see?】 【It’s just blow-drying hair. Why can’t we watch that?】 【That blowing sound… it’s exactly like when I watch action movies at home and deliberately turn the TV volume way up.】 【What kind of dirty thoughts are in your head?!】 【I mean, I have a friend who’d like to know.】 【Can someone write fanfiction about this? I want this plot! I need to know what they’re doing behind our backs!】

It's all a fantasy. Fable has been my escape. An unhealthy one. A safe pretend world where I could bury myself. Just like how Zee cried after she finished the final Harry Potter book, or how Jamie bases so much of her worth on the fictional version of herself that lives across a thousand Instagram pics, in the comments and likes of a thousand strangers. Just carefully constructed lies to comfort and lull. Dreams.

"Move, Kaelen. Or I'm telling Jax you're bothering me again." "Jax is busy," he whispered, leaning down until his lips were inches from mine. "And you don't want me to move. You want to know if I'm as rough as the stories you probably make up about me." "Get off me and stop writing fanfics in your head, you prick!" I hissed, even as my breath hitched. "Is that what this is? Fanfiction?" He smirked, his eyes darkening. He didn't move an inch; if anything, he pressed closer, his heavy chest crushing my soft one. "You don't want me to move and you know it," he whispered.

You enjoy the fluff, get your panties wet during the snu-snu moments, and fantasize about things that only happen in fiction. 'You like to read these crappy books because you want to fantasize about the things that you can never have. These books make up for your boring reality. These books have twisted your expectations of a real man. You drool over fictional characters but you won't look at a real man,' My younger brother had chastised me once, 'and these authors make your wallet thinner by manipulating your mindset and making you addicted.'

Something has changed. I don’t know how or really even when exactly, but writing and reading my fanfic isn’t doing it for me anymore. It used to be everything, all I needed, what I lived for, and obsessed over in my limited free time but now it’s not enough. I read the words, and expect to get hot and bothered and ready to touch myself as usual, and the need just isn’t there. It’s not that it doesn’t turn me on, it’s just not as exciting. What I’m now obsessed with is having Bryce and Wyatt in real life.

"You wanted to escape getting married to me so bad, that you washed me with insults in front of my Dad. That was mortifying." My face heated in embarrassment. The waiter brought wine and I took a sip from my glass quickly before mumbling. "Ah yeah. I did that. Sorry about that." "Oh it's fine," he laughed. "So, I'm guessing you were inspired by the ten fanfictions written on our names?" I almost spat the wine in my mouth all over the table. "Do we have fanfictions? What the hell?" He shrugged. "Should I pretend I hate them too?"

The maids took care of cleaning the house and also preparing food. Most of my time was spent in the library, and it was a big library with varieties of books. It was the only thing I missed in the house. After reading lots of books, I decided to start writing mine one day. I wrote a lot of fan fiction for books I didn't like the ending and I also change the life of characters that I think deserved better. From writing fan fiction, I switched to writing original stories but none of the family knew about this. I was supposed to be invisible but if they found out I was writing or doing anything productive, I would be punished.

As usual, all the students are looking at us, mostly looking at Cream or the others, no one ever really looks at me or maybe I can't see it because I'm always looking at the floor but all of a sudden when Coco suddenly turns and says "Ah, Caramel!" I jump a little, Cream's hand being the only thing holding in me place as I say "Y-Yeah?" He's carrying up his phone "A fanfiction about us both is ranking number one in fanfic on W*****d!" A visible cringe shows on my face as I say "U-Us?" Chocolate turns around completely, now walking backwards as he says "Yep! Me and you! Yeah, yeah, I know I can't like kiss you or whatever but in this book, you really like sex! Which isn't a lie, you literally

My brows furrowed. “What… what is BL?” She looked at me like I was an alien. “Are you fucking kidding me? BL means Boys’ Love. It’s basically fanfiction that ships him with another man.” She said it like it was the most normal thing in the world. “It’s my consolation. Since I can’t have him, I’d rather imagine him with another man than some girl who doesn’t deserve him, you know. No girl deserves him.” My stomach turned. That’s weird. I thought it, but didn’t dare say it out loud.
