Food, clothes, secrets—we had shared everything. Aside from Luke, she was the second person I was closest to. During our freshman year, I introduced Luke to her. Never did I expect myself to bring a snake into my life. I forced myself to calm down, logged out, then logged back in with an alternate account no one knew about. Then, I searched her username again. This time, her profile opened. Countless feeds flooded me as if they had been anticipating me. One photo showed a man's hand resting on a swollen belly. The caption read, 'The baby is kicking! He put his hand on my belly, and his eyes turned red when he said this was the fruit of our love.'

"And rest we will continue in the next lecture, that's it for today." by saying this the professor ended the last lecture of that day. Adjusting her glasses with her finger, Su Yeon woke up from her dream. It was not a dream but a memory of some years ago. "I truly envy people like you who shamelessly sleep during lecture and still score O grade(1)!" with a thud, Min Seong, Su Yeon's deskmate and best friend in university, started keeping books in her bag.

He returned to the bedside and picked up the half-peeled apple, acting as if nothing had happened. However, I noticed his hand trembled slightly as he peeled the apple. It betrayed a trace of fear from what had just happened. "Does your hand hurt?" The words slipped out before I even realized I'd spoken. Damien's head snapped up, eyes bright with sudden delight. "N-No, it doesn't," he replied, shaking his head vigorously. Then he held out the peeled apple to me, his eyes full of anticipation. I hesitated for a moment before accepting it and taking a small bite, savoring the sweetness.

He walked toward me and continued, "I had no idea you had that kind of hunting talent. You really blew me away. I've already cut things off with Wendy. Let's move on forward together." If he had said that earlier, while I was still in love with him, maybe I would've forgiven everything and chosen to stay. But now, there was no way I could ever be with him again. "Blake, our agreement's time is up." When I saw his confused expression, I smiled. "Did you forget the three-year deal? Once the time is up, we'll go our separate ways." I watched his expression shift from confusion to shock, then regret. "So that day, it wasn't you humiliating me… it was the deal I made that ended us…"

“The best thing to do is end the relationship on good terms while you still have the chance because I assure you, you will only end up hating each other. It’s an entire shit show babes, don’t do it.” When Lydia noticed that my demeanor had changed, she stood from her office chair and said, “Alright Wendy, thank you for the files. We appreciate your input, you can go now.” Wendy laughed softly as she headed for the door. She proceeded to push it open and while her hand was still on the doorknob, she said rather sweetly, “I'm not trying to be a Debby Downer, I’m just saying the truth, really.” “Bye sweetie.” Lydia smiled at her.

"The endgame..." "...starts now."

Bella I was thinking about the movie as we walked out of the theater. I had really only paid attention at the end, when the mother looked at her new baby and said that line: ‘It ends with you, it ends with me, it ends with us.’ A few minutes later, the credits rolled. I could always watch it again. That is, if I could stop my brain from replaying this whole night on a loop. The song playing over the credits was one I love, so I sang along softly as we joined the crowd heading for the exit.
