What Is A Ghoul Novels & Stories

It said, sounding sure of itself. “Maybe an animal just took its last breath.” The other opined, “It’s the dark forest. Things die by the second. Let’s go.” “No. Just wait a second. If I am right, it means one more soul in the bag.” He stated gleefully and walked around, kicking everything in sight. I knew that move. It was a ghoul’s tactic aimed at catching anything that thought it could outsmart it by holding its breath. It was general knowledge that a ghoul would kick everything - including a dead animal - for days to ascertain it was truly dead and not pretending.

A ghoul—a smoky, semi-corporeal horror with glowing red eyes and clawed hands—materialized from the shadows and slammed into him. He grunted in pain as his back connected hard with the carriage, the breath knocked from his lungs. The cube clattered to the ground but continued its ominous pulse. The ghoul, joined by a second, shambled toward him. The mayor, witnessing this, screamed, and the few townsfolk nearby scattered.

Suddenly, a ghoul jumped in front of them and roared. Cassandra couldn't help but gasp. Sharp teeth, long sharp claws about 6ft tall. A very hideous and scary creature that eats humans and vampires, werewolves, faeries, and witches' flesh. A ghoul, one of Ikrur's loyal animals. "I have to fight it. Stay back, hon. I will handle this," Sebastian said and pushed Cassandra behind him.

Hair, long and filthy, braided so tight it made their faces even more horrifying. From their ears hung thick black hoops. From their wrists and ankles, blue bracelets with gold incriptions glowed faintly. Adem’s voice shook. “What the hell are those things—” “Ghouls,” Aziz spat. “Cursed forever for eating human flesh. Don’t wait. Kill them before they reach you!” “They don’t actually… eat people?.” I said in disbelief. I waited for someone to correct me. When no body did, my stomach dropped.

Skyler said with an uncomfortable peep. Claire pushed her in and they closed the door "Ghouls are humans drank completely dry by a vampire then the vampire gives them some of their blood, they come back to life but are basically slowly rotting away... The most loyal of followers, unfortunately also the most smelly ones" she said. "Like a zombie!?" "Yeah, like a zombie" Claire said and laughed at Skyler's bewildered face.

with its ribs sticking out at all angles and exposed bones everywhere. As I took in their appearance, they smiled at me, making me wonder why I thought it was a good idea to knock on this door. There must have been at least 5 rows of razor sharp teeth in their mouth. The idea of having to fight a ghoul truly did make me nauseous. I straightened my spine and made “eye contact” with them and smiled. “I need to know where I am please.” The ghoul tilted their head and cackled, “Are you new to the underworld or something? How did you even get out this far?”

The complete annihilation of the dangerous beasts in the Netherworld. Now, there are no longer any remaining celestial beasts in the Netherworld. They all died that night. The only remaining is ordinary beasts and also, the human error that causes a nightmare for years. The ghouls. These are monsters or undead that were created by the wizards. Their original purpose is necromancy, to revive the dead.

"I am a Night Hallow and yes, I do have quite the interests in machinery." "That's so cool." Noelle mumbled under his breath. "Do you mind if I asked what kind of Night Hallow you are?" "I am a ghoul." she answered him briefly. "A ghoul..?" Noelle gave Asty a puzzled look. Chaol rolled his eyes. "She's an undead monster." "I'm sorry?" "Well, Lana here," Chaol pointed at her. "Is a ghost-like being with a physical body. She looks dead, isn't she?"

"More dire predictions, I take it? Or just plain paranoia? We've had nothing happen over here. No missing persons. No psychotic episodes. Oh, and no army of darkness at our compound walls." "Yet. I thought you might wish to know that the missing rogues have been claimed or killed by sources unknown." "One thing less to worry about, I guess." The nonchalance in Nathan's reply bothered Marc, and he got a sense this conversation was headed downhill fast. Thad gritted his teeth. "Not exactly reason to celebrate. We have reason to believe that a vampire is turning the missing wolves into ghouls." "And what exactly is a ghoul?" "Think half zombie, half vampire, a whole lot of nuts, whose sole purp

"Why wouldn’t it be ghouls?" The floor trembled as the creatures slammed into the outer walls. Elias skidded into the hall, duffel bag over his shoulder. "What the hell is that?" "Ghouls," Kai said. "Welcome to the worst night of your life." The front door exploded inward in a shower of splinters. The first ghoul charged through — a massive, gray-skinned beast with glowing yellow eyes and claws like daggers. Lucian didn't hesitate. He threw a dagger straight into its skull.
