At least I look battered enough to get away with being the poor soul who stumbled upon something she didn’t mean to.
“Scared to touch me? Is it because I’m an immortal?” he questions, eyeing my bare skin with a gaze that makes me uncomfortable. Cocky bastard. I suppose as long as he believes that, I might be okay.
“Just leave her alone,” Thought mutters.
“Leave her alone? She snuck in here, and you’re the one telling me she can evade your ability to read her mind. She’s under some kind of magic,” Time says, crossing his arms over his chest. Both men are wearing suits, as if they have come from some kind of event. Odd, but I’m not here to complain.
