When he was done he tried to leave, but Elisa's eyes opened again. "Is Cinderella still dancing tomorrow?" She asked dazedly, clutching Brent's hand. "Sure, little girl,” Brent said helplessly. He told on for who knows how long, not stopping until he got to the point where the prince and Cinderella were driving to the palace in a carriage conjured up by their fairy godmother.

The invisible curtain fell down, a foul smell and blood filled the room. A lifeless woman standing and hugging a little thing like a child. Blood streamed down from her neck when the child turned its face to them. Hissing, it showed its bloody teeth. Starting to jump around, tried to find a way to escape, struggled with the advisor who continuously cast a spell to make it freeze.

"Isn't all this like Cinderella? You are Cinderella, disappearing at midnight and I'm your Prince." Midnight shook his head biting down a chuckle. "Cinderella my ass."

Damion stared at Coltus for a moment before letting out a growl of frustration. He stooped down and undid the silver cuffs on my ankles, followed by the ones on my wrists. The relief was immediate when I was freed from the burning silver. My magic was starting to sparkly weakly within me. Regrettably, it wasn't enough to do anything, I needed time to regain my strength. But when Damion captured my shoulders again and Coltus took a step toward me with his hand raised, I tried with all my might to struggle against Damion's bruising grip.

The lace at the edges of my sleeves started to fray, the fabric splitting apart. I gasped as my reflection changed.
