When The Moon Hides Her Crown Novels & Stories

The air shimmered with light as Aria faced Corin. Her heartbeat thundered like drums in her ears, and the candle flames around them flared, bending toward her as if pulled by invisible hands. Liam clung to her cloak, his small voice trembling. “Mama, what is happening?” Aria’s eyes glowed silver. “Stay behind me, my love.” Corin laughed quietly, stepping closer. “So the stories were true. The Luna of Silver Crest carries the Moon’s gift. I always wondered what it would look like when awakened.”

Marcus watched me as if I were a bad joke. "Putting on a show." He sneered. "You think just making a call will" His words died on his lips. Because a loud roar suddenly came from outside the window. Everyone turned their heads, looking out the floor-to-ceiling windows. In the sky, a black private helicopter was slowly descending. On the side of the fuselage, a prominent silver 'V' crest was emblazoned. That was the Vanguard family crest. The entire corridor fell into a deathly silence.

The hunger was still fighting to hold shape in my face, but the room had begun to distrust its own design. Then the cradle at the centre of the hidden chamber lit from within. Not red. Not black. Silver-white, old and aching and furious. Symbols along the inner ribs began to glow one by one, and because the bond to Ty was still open, I understood them the way I had begun to understand everything in this place—not as text alone, but as intention. This chamber had not only held the first stolen Luna. It had recorded the terms of the theft. And buried in those terms was a reversal.

The moon responded. The ground seemed to hum beneath my feet. An elder stepped forward, holding the crown. It was beautiful. Silver, engraved with ancient markings, glowing faintly under the moonlight. “This night,” the elder announced, “we crown the Luna of the united packs.” Murmurs spread. Pride. Excitement. Expectation. I glanced at Adrian. Still nothing. The crown was placed on my head. The moment it touched me, the crowd erupted. Cheers. Howls.

Sad. "I am the one who began this," she says. "I am the Moon Queen. And I am the reason my descendants must die." The hole begins to close. The stars fade. The voice grows distant. "Find the Crown of Broken Moons," she whispers. "Before the hunters find her again. Find it, or watch your mate become the death of everything you love." The hole seals. I am alone in a room of rot and feathers. I stand. My legs shake. My hands shake. Everything shakes.

Amora gasped, her hand instinctively dropping as a sudden, terrifying shadow rushed across the clearing. The pale, silver light of the midnight moon did not just fade—it was violently swallowed. A massive, unnatural wall of ink-black, heavy storm clouds rolled across the sky at an impossible speed, completely suffocating the moon's radiance. The valley was instantly plunged into an absolute, pitch-black darkness so thick that the silver runes on the altar stopped glowing. The wind died instantly, leaving behind a dead, freezing silence that smelled faintly of a rotting grave. Susan dropped the silver chalice, the ritual wine spilling across the stone like blood. "The moon... it's gone. The g

TARGET ACQUISITION VOID. "They know," I managed to choke out, my lungs burning. "The South... they’ve cloaked the station. They’re hiding behind the moon’s glare." "They can’t hide the song," Luna whispered. Her voice shouldn't have been audible over the scream of the atmospheric friction, yet it vibrated inside my skull, clear and cool. "The mirrors are singing a lie, Mama. But the Crown... the Crown is screaming." Suddenly, the ship’s central computer emitted a chime that sounded like a bell struck in a cathedral.

My heart skipped a beat, knowing that he was about to introduce me. "Today, our Nightwalkers pack welcomes a new member, Zoe Ernest. Let us welcome Miss Ernest to the stage," his powerful voice resonated throughout the hall. My steps were quick, despite my legs feeling weak. All eyes in the room, including his, were fixed on me, intensifying my nerves. Standing at the podium, I deliberately avoided looking in his direction. Alpha Alis draped a cloak symbolizing the Nightwalkers pack over my shoulders, embroidered with the emblem resembling both a crescent moon and a sickle. I softly thanked Alpha Alis and then bowed to the audience as Aunt Mary had instructed. Amid the warm applause, I swift

“You never knew.” “Knew what?” “That crown was made centuries ago for one purpose.” She looked at me. “To control the Moonborn Queen.” My stomach dropped. “No.” My mother nodded. “The seal is hidden inside it.” Kael removed the crown at once. “Then why did nobody tell me?” “Because the people who placed it there made sure the truth disappeared.” Kael looked at the crown. His fingers tightened around it. “I have worn this since I became King.” My mother whispered, “That was the plan.”

I don't notice here in Wysteria when it's a new moon or a full moon because I don't go out of the palace very often. Estrebelle thought and counted on her fingers before answering. "Lady Alessia, the hidden moon is three days from now." He answered that even though he was interested in asking why I asked that question, he did not. It's coming soon. Even if you are not sure it is necessary to try. That speculation cannot be formed without a basis. "Does something strange happen every lunar month?" I asked him. But based on my experience, nothing unusual happens every lunar month. This happens every month and I don't notice anything unusual. But I don't know if I just don't notice anything bec
