When The Star Falls By Jojissi Novels & Stories

Then, as if it just dawned on me, I realized— "Wait, are you two coming to help me? No way! Just take the Star and carry it up there. You really don’t need me, and I have to get back and prepare before my father finds us again." The Moon Goddess shook her head, and just as she was about to explain, five massive holes opened up in the sky. The wind picked up as we watched five figures fall—one from each hole. Then, as if they’d seen me earlier, they all adjusted mid-fall, landing a few feet away from us…each in my Iron Man pose.

"Rosita Blackwater, I Aidan Star of Stargaze pack hereby reject you as my mate, do you accept?" I didn't want to accept, the moon goddess put us together, but I knew that I had no choice, even if I refused, I'm still rejected. With a trembling breath, "I, Rosita Blackwater, hereby accept your rejection ...Aidan Star." I whispered, suddenly I screamed as an intense pain assaulted my chest, it hurt almost to the point of fainting, like a hot knife had been plunged in my chest. I fell flat to the ground gasping in pain as they watched me.

I take a deep breath, feeling the adrenaline pumping through my veins. With a nod and thumbs up from my instructor, I jump off the plane, feeling the rush of the wind against my face. The freefall is intense, but I love every moment of it. As I fall, I look around me and see the stars twinkling above me, each one seeming to call out to me. I can almost imagine myself reaching out and gathering those sparkling gems with my own hands. Chuckling to myself, I imagine catching a falling star and putting it in my pocket, just like in a popular song.
