"Rosita, just accept it, you know we were never meant to be together, you are far too weak to be my mate. I've decided to accept your sister"

Aidan said this to me with a stern face, the warm and caring face I had grown to love was nowhere in sight. How could he be saying this to me. I'm supposed to be his mate.

FLASHBACK.....

"Rosita, where are the clothes I gave you to wash? Have you washed them? You know today is the coming of age ball" Avery, my elder sister shouted as she came to stand directly in front of me where I was scrubbing the floor.

"Yes, I have washed them already, I kept them in your room" I softly answered with my head lowered.

"Good, at least that's the only thing you are good at" she huffed and then spilled some plum colored juice onto the floor I was still scrubbing, "Clean that, that's what you were meant to do" with a cackle she left, I raised my head and watched her slim, jeans covered form as she left the sitting room.

You might wonder why she treats me this way even though she is my sister. Well, I have no wolf, which means I'm weak and useless. My father, the Beta, always looks at me in disgust and loathing, after all i am a disgrace to the strong bloodline of the family. But I don't complain, this is better than being chased out or killed.

My phone rang drawing my attention to my pocket.

"Hello Aidan" a smile appeared on my face

"Hello Rosita, are you ready for tonight. We get to reveal our relationship to everyone" his smooth voice flowed into my ears making butterflies to flutter in my stomach.

"Yes, I'm ready, I can't wait to officially be your mate".

"Me too, I will pick you up at 7 so just wait for me alright?"

"Alright" I giggled as I ended the call.

Aidan was the Alpha's son and also my mate, we had met at a grocery store where I had gone to get groceries for preparing the meal, and we had discovered that we were mates. I thought he would be disgusted by me, a wolfless being but instead he smiled at him with his handsome face, I was so happy when he asked me to dinner.

I told my family that I had found a mate who happened to be the Alpha's son, from the disgusted and angry look on their face, I could tell they were not happy about it but they said nothing to dissuade me from seeing him.

"Rosita, have you finished preparing my lunch, I don't want to be hungry because of you" my father, Beta Boaz, barked as he stepped into the sitting room, his oppressive aura made me whimper a little as I was forced to kneel in front of him.

"Yes sir, I shall serve it to you right away"

I stood behind him as he ate, "So today you officially become Aidan's mate huh?"

"..yes sir" I was startled that he spoke to me, this was the first times he was speaking to me softly.

"You are far too weak to be his mate...I do not know if I can allow that embarrassment..."

My heart beat fast as I heard him.

"...but since he has not complained, I will let you be"

"..thank..thank you sir."

He didn't say anything after that.

Thirty minutes later, I was dressed in a faded jeans and a long sleeved black shirt, I had no makeup kit so my face was bare and my blonde hair was packed in a pony tail. I stood outside the house anxiously waiting for Aidan, it was already ten minutes last seven and he still had not come.

"Are you Rosita?" A girl suddenly spoke beside me, startling me, she had this goth dark vibe around her.

"Yes I am Rosita"

"Aidan told me to tell you that he wouldn't be able to make it, he says he is sorry but he will meet you at the party"

"Really, but he could have called to tell me not sending someone" I frowned, the girl leveled me with and annoyed looking.

"He said he couldn't make it, do you think he would have the time to call you, useless bitch" she snapped at me

"I'm sorry, I have heard you. Can you tell him I will see him at the party?"

"You tell him yourself" she smirked evilly as she left.

"Where can he be?" I muttered to myself as I stood in the middle of the party grounds surrounded by people as they danced and made merry. The coming of age ceremony was also a mating ceremony and other packs were invited so the place was packed. But no matter how hard I tried I couldn't find Aidan.

"Hey, are you looking for Aidan?" A guy asked me, I nodded

He jerked his hand backwards, "You should check behind the pack house, I saw him heading there"

I thanked the guy as I made my way over to the place he pointed. I stood dead as I saw who Aidan was with. Avery, my sister had her hands around him and her lips were pressed against his in a deep kiss. His hands were not idle, they moved up and down her body as if searching for something. The soft moans coming from their mouth let me know that they were enjoying themselves.

"You know you want me, so why dont you just dump the bitch and take me instead" Avery crooned as she traced her hands over his penis area.

"Trust me, I never wanted her in the first place.." my hands flew to my mouth...."I only accepted her because she was my mate, but now I know I have a choice. I want you instead." He crooned back as he grabbed her ass fiercely making her moan in surprise.

I was still standing where they could not see me, gently I tried to retrace my steps, I didn't want them to see me instead I would go home quietly.
