“I hope you’re not planning to go out on the water in this thing, are you?” “Thanks and actually I was, it’s so beautiful here.” She smiled at me, even her voice was beautiful and I smiled back at her, she had that type of smile, one you couldn’t resist. “Not such a good idea, the wind’s going to pick up and you don’t want to get caught out there when it does, you’ll flip over.” I was intensely aware of the sweat in my hair as she gazed intently at me. “Right … and you are?”

"What line of mine do you like?" "Haters hate to see us happy," he echoed and threw a wonderful at me. The wind blew and it made my hair to dance and slap his face. We both laughed at what happened and forgot that we were in the middle of danger.

They both walked away from me with their shiny furs caused by the water as they were more relaxed now. I stared at the sky softly, adoring nature, and I thought of how it would have been to control it. To have the wind swirling and adorning my fingers. I smiled at that and heard footsteps, turning my head to their directions, and smiled more when I saw them laughing and approaching me. The wind had increased and Davina’s head flew in its direction, hitting her face, which she smiled and cleared. “It’s breezy,” She said, and I nodded standing up. “Let’s go.”

I whispered. As I walked away, I saw a white dive fly across the sky and the gentle wind picked up, blowing past my face and ruffling my hair. I smiled, knowing my sister had listened to me. Blowing a kiss into the wind, I made my way back to the castle where I met Kieran waiting for me, a small smile on his face.

There are places waiting, hidden just beyond the fear, and every time you smile, I know the way is clear. It’ll fit perfectly by the time summer comes around.” He stared down at my hand, then looked back up at the massive curtain of green light dancing across the Arctic sky, a sudden, radiant smile breaking across his face. “You used to say that the northern lights you spent a lifetime chasing were never meant for you, and there was no need to chase them anymore.”
