" Ron said giving her one of his killer smiles. Idiot!!! Keep looking at that poem for the rest of your life... " Awww... And you are as bold and strong as your name. Why don't we meet for a coffee or something? " she asked going very close to him and batting her eyes at him. I glared at them. He smirked at me and turned to her.

Well, it's not like Rishi always keeps a grumpy face but a smile like this is rare to witness on Rishi's face. a smile like, as if he won the world. A smile that comes after seeing the freshly bloomed flower. A smile that comes after inhaling the woodsy pulp smell of new books. A smile that comes after listening to a soft melody song suggested by someone close. A smile that comes after sipping the first sip of perfect hot coffee on a rainy morning. A smile that comes after hugging your loved one. A smile that comes after knowing that everything is going smoothly and fits in life. A smile that comes after being satisfied with the flaw of life, that leads you to your destined soulmate. a smil

He leaned in closer and whispered, “Smile.” She shut her eyes tightly, biting down on her lip. Slowly and painfully, her mouth curved upward into a forced smile. The screaming flowers went silent. She opened her eyes horrified and whispered, “No.” Her father's voice dripped with manipulation. “Yes. Even false smiles hold power. The world doesn’t care if you’re hurting inside; it only wants to see your teeth.” She stumbled backward, clutching her chest while her lips quivered against their will, trying not to frown—the smile felt like it was locked in place.

I smile—sharp, joyless. “Come and make me.”

I stood in the middle of the living room, facing the security camera's blinking red light, practicing my smile again and again. Looking into the lens, I spoke softly, like I was leaving a message for the Mom who'd watch it someday. "Mom, look. I practiced the perfect smile again today. "Lift the corners of my mouth fifteen degrees and show eight teeth. The books say that's the most sincere smile. The one that makes people feel warm. "I've practiced so much my face hurts... but that's okay. "When you watch this tomorrow... will you tell me I did a good job? "Will you finally believe I wasn't lying to you?"

Just who is Smiles that is capable of turning everyone's mood with just a click of her fingers? *Inside the room* Grandma Shiley kept staring at Smiles with a bright and sparkling face. It felt awkward, she could only smile back at her. "What's wrong, Grandma?" She asked. Grandma Shiley shake her head, "Not wrong… instead ask what's making me happy" she corrected. "Ok, what's making you happy?" She asked again. A broad smile appears on grandma Shirley's face. "You've made me happy, pretty one… you've made grandma Shiley very happy, you've given me my one last wish" Grandma Shiley said and pulled her in a tight hug making sure not to make her feel uncomfortable.

I grinned back and kept moving, stopping beside a girl who looked like she might cry from the pressure of getting one word to rhyme with “orange.” "Try something like… 'door hinge' instead," I whispered, kneeling beside her. “It’s silly, I know. But poems don’t have to be perfect, they just have to be honest.” The girl giggled quietly. I giggled too, unable to hold it any longer. My phone buzzed in my pocket then, and I ignored it at first, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear as I rose to my feet. Another buzz. Then another, in quick succession. Something about the way the messages came made my brows crease with worry.
