His Regret Missed the Deadline

His Regret Missed the Deadline

After she was intimate with her husband, Derrick Gladwin, Celine Clarkson headed to the bathroom to clean up. Then the closet door swung open. Jenny Dlay—Celine's best friend—popped out, laughing like crazy. "Wow, Cece. You act all innocent, but you still make that face when things get good? I'm dead." Jenny rolled her eyes and stuck out her tongue, mocking the way Celine had bitten her lip and trembled. Celine went pale and froze. Jenny didn't care. She strutted over, went up on her toes, and hooked an arm around Derrick's neck, her nails brushing through his Adam's apple. "Okay, Ricky. Didn't know you had that in you. You seriously wore her out." She smirked. "Almost feel bad for he

The Alpha's Hidden Heir

The Alpha's Hidden Heir

"I'm saying it because you need to understand what trust actually means. It means sharing the impossible things. It means believing the other person is strong enough to face the truth alongside you." I looked around the room—at Connor, at Marcus, at Beth, at the people who had chosen to stand with me even knowing what it might cost. "That's what I've learned since you cast me out. That's what I've built without you." I met Marty's eyes one final time. "And that's what we'll never have again, because you chose to carry this alone." The silence that followed was absolute. Then Beth spoke, her voice barely audible. "There's something else in the letter. Something you might have missed."

Rejected and Torn Between Two Alphas

Rejected and Torn Between Two Alphas

The fear of losing Alpha Ralph's trust weighed on me, an invisible shroud of remorse. Was I wrong in trusting him? Doubt crept in, cruel and unforgiving. But then, a voice from within fought back, resilient and resolute. No. I know him. He loves me. This is an aberration—a tragic accident, not a reflection of us. Torn between my faith in our love and the ghastly reality before me, I grappled with the fragments of my trust, piecing them together like a broken mosaic. Every shard was a painful reminder of the fragility of trust, but I refused to let go of the picture we had painted together.

His Regret

His Regret

“ I thought that I would let you be and keep to myself but I realise now that it was a mistake. I should have confronted you about the welcome party you threw for her when you said you were going to attend a gala. I was an idiot for believing whatever you say. In a sense, this is my fault. I didn't even mention that I wasn't feeling well and I missed my parents. In case you forgot, my parents died. They have been gone for a long time and this is where they are buried. That is why I came here to visit them. I'm not some crazy stalker like you think but yeah, you can think whatever. I don't care anymore. You can continue taking care of Anna. She matters more to you than I do.” I lost my compos

The Mafia King’s Queen

The Mafia King’s Queen

“Do you have any idea what could’ve happened? If he traced even one of those routes, if he intercepted a single shipment, he could’ve hit our men. He could’ve destroyed everything.” “I know,” I whispered. “I know, and I’m sorry.” "Sorry doesn't fix it." His gaze met mine, hard and unrelenting. "You don't just lose my trust, Fiorella. You lose my brothers'. You lose this family's trust. Do you understand what that means?" Tears blurred my vision. “You think I don’t? You think I wanted this?” He turned away, running a hand through his hair. “You should’ve come to me.”

Is This Regret?

Is This Regret?

Stella reached out to Eric with her hand and spoke softly and tenderly. "It's all over for now. It's time for you to chat with my parents." "You're right. They must be tired of waiting." The spark in Noel's eyes gradually dimmed as he watched them walk away while leaning against each other. He felt a pang of pain in his heart. It hurt so much that tears welled in his eyes. Noel felt something leaving his body and floating away. He knew he could no longer get it back.

The Hockey Star's Spicy Stripper

“But I care about loyalty. I care about trust. We’ve been brothers since middle school. Since the rink. And now? I can’t even look at him without seeing her all over him.” Finally, Xavier lifted his gaze. For one split second, I saw it: regret. Not the kind you fake to get out of trouble. The real kind, the kind that cut deep and stayed. “I know,” he said simply. “I know I broke that trust. I can’t fix it. But I don’t want this…us to fall apart because of her. You matter more to me than she ever could.”

Love Rewritten: Chasing Her Back

Love Rewritten: Chasing Her Back

But was it that easy to forget the pain? Trish leaned forward, resting her elbows on the table. “I know you’re scared.” I shook my head. “This is not simply about the fear in my heart.” “Then what is it?” I gazed down at the bowl of cereal. “I don’t trust him, Trish. I don’t trust that he won’t leave again. I don’t trust that if I let him back in, he won’t shatter me all over again.” She nodded slowly. “And you think Noah is the answer?”

Return of the Abandoned Wife

Return of the Abandoned Wife

--- Because without trust— --- Nothing else held. --- The system pulsed again. --- Quieter now. --- More contained. --- But no longer whole. --- Just like them. --- And as the silence stretched between what had been… and what remained— As belief gave way to consequence— As connection fractured under the weight of choice— One final truth emerged: --- Trust is not destroyed by what you lose— --- But by who you become… --- When you choose to lose it.

Billionaire's Mistress Is A Hidden Heiress

Billionaire's Mistress Is A Hidden Heiress

“He put all the explanations at bay with just one sentence I was yearning for someone to say for years.” I could feel Keith’s unwavering gaze on me, and I breathed deeply. “Trust has always been elusive to me. Meghan didn’t trust me when I told her I don’t have money to pay rent and stuff, Sandra didn’t trust me when I told her his boyfriend tried to rape me….” “I didn’t trust you when you denied cheating on me,” Keith cut me off. “I apologize for everything! Not trusting you that day will always haunt me. I have a hand in your suffering.”

Looking ahead for the Sebastian and Janet's one. But what about the books that are on hold. Strings of eternity. I like that book very much but you suddenly stopped it's updates. And what about the standalone of kiara and Ivaan?
