“I love the way you say my name,” Axel whispers against my neck. His breath is hot against my skin. “Axel,” I repeat. His name sounds like melted butter in my mouth. Sensual, seductive, wild. But when we opened the box, our moms hand was in there. Her fucking hand. You know your moms hand." I close my eyes momentarily to stop the tears and then open them to see the twins. "How old were you guys?" I ask, my voice hoarse from the need to cry. "We were six" I lean forward and place a quick kiss against each of their mouths.

He just lay down on my lap while watching while Athena was also next to her father. I fell asleep. I didn't realize that Hades was no longer by my side. Only then did I realize that I was now on the sofa right next to Zelo. He was still watching the television while stroking my hair. I slowly adjusted my seat and looked around. The two children were gone so I immediately turned to Zelo. "Where's the twins?" I asked with confusion. "They already fell asleep," he said so I slowly nodded. He was just watching me while I was fixing myself. I also met his eyes now.
