Wolfbane

Wolfbane

Luke’s father went back to stand by Luke’s mom while Luke stayed forward, and I went to join him. The priest, once again, handed me the knife. I cut a slit down my other hand and handed the knife to Luke who did the same. I spoke into the microphone. “I, Blake Wulfric, elect Lucas Hemming as my beta, to be loyal to and lead the Midnight Maple Pack alongside me.”

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown

“The Silver Lantern Celebration is next week. Have you figured out who you’ll be portraying?” The Silver Lantern Celebration stood as the most cherished and grand event in werewolf tradition. It honoured the divine night spirit said to have blessed their kind with strength and balance. During this festival, the she-wolves portrayed sacred figures, the night deity herself, her handmaidens, and the celestial warriors who served under her. The he-wolves, on the other hand, took up roles as loyal sentinels, attendants, and devoted followers, reenacting the legends passed down through their ancestors.

An Alpha for the Stolen Princess

An Alpha for the Stolen Princess

“Will you and the maidens oversee the infirmary? The more warriors we have, the better off we’ll be if there’s a siege.” Chastine nodded and started to lead the maidens inside as Mary sprinted off to get things done. I went back to Lauryn, who hadn’t moved from where she stood. I placed my hand on her shoulder. She still didn’t move or speak. “Lauryn.” She turned her head. “I could use a beta who knows more about Whitelark.” She turned to me and nodded. “You’ve got it.” We walked to a warrior who was hefting a bag of arrows into a cart. Another man hustled to load the cart up with bags of other things. They were working quickly and silently. Each of them looked like they needed rest but refu

The White Crescents

The White Crescents

Their second gift granted them the ability of making anyone submit to them by staring them in the eye and that made it impossible for anyone to look into their deep crystal blue eyes for more than three seconds because it paralyzed them in their fear. The white fur were all white wolves with crystal blue eyes and their wolf size was larger than any normal wolf. What distinguished them from others was their unique mark. It was a white crescent moon found mostly on their chest, wrist or back shoulder, and thus the name The White Crescent Pack. My heart skipped a beat and my hand clutched onto my chest where the mark was, involuntarily. No, no obviously no. I frantically searched for a picture

Mother of the Moon

Mother of the Moon

Zelena. Lupus led me down the porch and out into the clearing. Strings of white lanterns hung from one side of the clearing to the other, filling the space with beautiful glowing lights. A red carpet had been laid out from the bottom of the porch, all the way to the stage, making me feel like some kind of movie star. The crowd of Weres was huge. Must be double the size of Tri-Moon. They gathered on either side of the carpet, bunching in together to get as close as they could to the stage. As we walked through the middle of them, they knelt to their knee with their heads bowed and one hand over their heart. It was deathly silent, with only the sound of my thumping heart filling my ears.

Fantastic series, I can't wait to read book 3. The story is gripping, the characters are engaging, it's the type of story once you start you can't put it down. The author is extremely talented, you can tell she gives this her all. Thank you Kay Pearson, I can't wait to see what you do next :)

I haven’t been able to put the first book down at all. Started yesterday afternoon and just finished it today. Hopefully by the time I finish the 2nd book the third will be done! This author is amazing.

HALF BREED

HALF BREED

Sparrow stuck some fingers into his mouth, issued a shrill whistle, and was almost immediately rewarded. Two figures, both dressed in loose-fitting shirts, knee-length trousers, and worn looking sandals, separated themselves from the relative darkness and trotted forward. Both were tall, slender, and possessed of wide-set eyes. The corporal said, "Galab wanaqsan", something about "Shan credits", and money changed hands. One of the men, a toothless oldster, sported a wicked-looking knife. He waited for his companion to place a ninety-pound duffel bag on one of his frail-looking shoulders, grinned happily, and nodded his readiness.

Accidentally Claimed

Accidentally Claimed

Dozens of delicate, intricately carved lanterns floated overhead, casting a cozy, ethereal glow. Whitney, taking full control of the event, organized everything with startling military precision. Armed with a clipboard and a terrifying dedication to theme consistency, she was barking orders at warriors twice her size, directing them on where to hang the bunting or arrange the towering centerpiece cake, and they obeyed without question. It was a beautiful, overwhelming display of collective Pack love and excitement.

Contractually Yours, Alpha

Contractually Yours, Alpha

"It was supposed to take my wolf, but for some reason, it didn't, but it had killed the elders." "Maybe it has to do with you being a lycan." I suggested. "Maybe," he agreed. "It feels so surreal. Axel had always been there for me, and now..." Thane left his sentence hanging; he took another gulp of the whiskey. "I have an idea." I said, taking out the white silk material, I had actually gotten this laterns for this very purpose. "What is that?" Thane asked. "They are called sky lanterns" I gave him one. "I want us to do this—not just for Axel but for every single person we lost."

Wow! Just wow! I could hardly put this book down! I wasn’t sure how fast I could read over 600 chapters but I did do it quite quickly considering my reluctance in taking breaks. Highly recommend reading this!

I loved this book so much. I had so many emotional moments, laughing, crying, happy, sad and scared. I couldn't put it down. I just wish that Axel had lived and found his own mate and that Thane and Riley were blessed by the goddess and became real mates.

The White Wolf

The White Wolf

I leaned against Ghost, ready to remove myself from the equation. My father finally settled his emotions. “Esmeralda?” “Yes, Daddy.” I yawned, watching the grin form on his face. He loved it when I called him that. “Do you have anything to report?’ He asked softly. Always a Colonel. “That camp is the command center. There are about a hundred men, no women. They believe God chooses them to rid the world of abominations.” “Good, girl.” “Daddy?” “Yes.” “They thought God sent powers through the white wolf. An abomination.”

The Chosen One

The Chosen One

Oil lamps and lanterns were adorned by the dais and by the nearby poles. Cavin whispered to Tommy, “Milord, that is Father Cornelius, the Twin Hollow new priest.” Upon hearing this, Celestina heard Cavin murmur in response, "...we saw him in the Redberg Village you know. He was the one with the odd knight's escorts." Tommy nodded in agreement as a shooting star had paused to light their path, like a lantern nestled in the wintry boroughs that made Diana sighed in delight.
