Those White Wolves of Mine

Those White Wolves of Mine

And of course, he didn't want to put it to the test. He's been sitting behind the big stone for about an hour when he suddenly sees the undergrowth move. The White Wolf, or rather, Luna Queen Drina is arriving. When she has crossed the border, she proudly stands on her hind legs and points her snout at the moon. However, her loud howl of triumph, as werewolves often do in their tribute to the moon, is lacking, she stares and sniffs a few times at the sky. Interesting. Jace continues to watch the spectacle.

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The moment the Elder saw Butterfly Zoila, his face darkened. When he faced Caspian, it was still sometimes red and sometimes white. At this moment, it directly turned white. His legs, which were hidden under his robe, were shaking uncontrollably. As soon as he raised his hand, a red lotus slowly circled around Butterfly Zoila's palm. Caspian looked over and saw that the red lotus was bright red and was emitting a halo. It seemed that there were countless murderous auras surging inside, as if countless fierce knives were constantly being nurtured.

Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

The White Warrior

The White Warrior

“Bai Hu. The Lord of Fuxi, protector of the West.” “The white tiger.” Jin nodded. “If we are to summon one of the holy beasts, Bai Hu is our best bet. Have you made up your mind?” Jade had almost forgotten about the decision she had to make. Now that she has seen Bai Hu, the legend didn’t sound as far-fetched as she thought. Besides, she needed to get home. No matter what it takes. With her jaws set and eyes fiery with determination, she nodded. “Yes. Let’s go find Bai Hu’s stars.”

The White Wolf Luna

A gust of wind blew through the camp. Far beyond the firelight, a small book opened itself. And somewhere deep in its middle, a blank page filled with new words: “She remembered. And because she remembered, the world changed.”

Then he set it down, the clink of crystal against wood echoing in the quiet. “I don’t work for Benedetto nor the Black Dragon Empire,” he said finally. Calm. Firm. A truth he meant me to swallow whether I liked it or not. I didn’t lower the gun. His lips curved into something smaller this time—not a smile, not a smirk. More like a revelation. “I work for something much greater. The White Lotus. The ones who keep the balance. Who bind the three empires into unity before they tear each other and the rest of the world apart.”

This book is an easy, feel-good romance that’s fun to read if you enjoy stories about rich guys falling for regular men. I’ll be honest—this book surprised me in the best way. I went in expecting a typical billionaire romance with the usual tropes: power dynamics, tension, maybe a little forbidden love. What I got was so much more layered, emotionally intense, and dare I say… kind of devastating (in a good way).

The Billionaire's Wife

The Billionaire's Wife

But as I looked closer, I realized that they were all filled with the same type of flower - the white lotus. I felt a sudden jolt of recognition, and my mind was flooded with memories from my past. I remembered a little girl who had given me a white lotus flower, and how it had made me feel special and loved. I had forgotten about that memory, but now it was coming back to me in vivid detail. As I touched the petals of the flower, I felt a sense of nostalgia wash over me. Why was this flower suddenly appearing in my life again? And what did it have to do with Sophia?

A Shade of Violet

I eye it suspiciously before opening it. Violet, I am the type of person to hide things. I am quiet and I am not the kind to show emotions. I hope you find this room to your liking and decorate it to your hearts content. I hope we can at least be cordial with one another as I have not feelings for you at this time. Your truly, Anthony

Lucius blurted. I moved my head to them while they headed to the huge and colorful carousel filled with gleaming lights. It was bright and beaming with happy colors. All of us got inside and sat down on some horses while Lucius took over controlling it. As the carousel started moving he carefully got on the platform with the help of Jasper and finally settled on their horses. Lindy was in-between Jasper and Silas and they were talking to her, making her laugh as I was enjoying myself while staring at them. I smiled at myself while Rowan was beside me staring at me.

Frequently Asked Questions

The first season of 'The White Lotus' is this brilliant dark comedy that peels back the layers of privilege and dysfunction at a luxury Hawaiian resort. We follow a group of wealthy guests—each with their own messy baggage—and the staff who serve them, often with resentment simmering just beneath the surface. Armond, the resort manager, is a standout, spiraling hilariously (and tragically) as he deals with entitled guests like Shane, a newlywed obsessed with getting the room he paid for. Meanwhile, Rachel, Shane’s wife, grapples with whether she’s just a trophy spouse, and Tanya, a grieving woman, latches onto a spa worker in this cringey yet poignant dynamic.

The show’s genius is how it turns paradise into a pressure cooker. By the end, you’re left with this uneasy mix of laughter and dread, especially after a body turns up in the opening scene—a Chekhov’s gun that pays off brutally. It’s less about whodunit and more about how systemic inequality and personal delusions collide. Mike White’s writing is razor-sharp; every interaction feels loaded, and the ocean views just make the pettiness sting more.
