"But we are not in the age of making friends and I'll love to do hokey pokey with you," Bethany shamelessly said without blinking or flushing. Where Sunny couldn't take it anymore, so he quickly excused himself by saying, "Okay, I think your answer is no. Bye." Before Sunny could run from that place, Bethany hooked her finger on Sunny's belt and stopped him.

The clock on the wall chimed pleasantly, snapping Zobber out of her reverie. She grabbed a nearby tissue box and hurled it at Withal. "You bastard! I'm discussing serious matters here. Why do you blurt out nonsense?" Withal laughed, masking his embarrassment at the slip-up. "Okay. Spill it. What feeling?"

Like laughter from everyone, including the Griffons. Penn and I exchanged looks and hurried back. Wyatt was in front of everyone talking.

Carter said with a smirk, “You seem to think that this company can’t function without you,” “No, this company can’t function without YOU. I think you’re the one who can’t function without me,” He said then paused for a moment before adding, “Wait! Isn’t that the same thing? The company really can’t function without me,” “You’re a conceited asshole,” Vincent said with a chuckle as he leaned back on the couch seeming to enjoy the banter. “I have to be in order to live with a jerk like you,” Carter answered. Then both men chuckled and sighed after that as if they had their doze of banter for the day after holding back for so long,

“Do you want to re-route and talk about the boundaries you were demanding a moment ago?” I sulk. “Would it kill you to let me live vicariously through you?” Wyatt cocks his head to the side and smiles adorably. “I’m not a piece of meat.” “You’re a gorgeous piece of meat.” I smile sultrily, and he chuckles.

Charlie said loudly, enough for Elliot to hear, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "I'm still right here," Elliot lamented, clearly offended. "Did you hear that, Autumn?" Charlie asked, feigning confusion as she glanced around dramatically. Autumn followed her lead, nodding. "I heard it too. Must be the wind," she shrugged, playing along with an exaggerated nonchalance. Elliot rolled his eyes at their childish banter. "Ha-ha, very funny. You both should stop playing games," he said, his gaze lingering on Charlie before shifting toward Autumn.
