Cassidy's smile slipped when she set her blue, almost ocean-like colored eyes on me. I had been standing behind Eric on purpose so she had noticed me when Eric walked into the house. 'No matter how much you are dressed up, you are still the same pig that was picked from the slum. How is it possible to wear a designer gown and still look that ugly? Yuck!' 'CC be nice' Eric's dad chided her as he came to the door. Cassidy left the door and sashayed in, leaving me by the door Yeah, that is CC, my sister-in-law. Rude, uncouth, no brain filter, and mannerless. Cassidy Conner, CC for short. She walks around half naked all in the name of owning a fashion brand that was not yet known.

Cassidy said. "Uhm..." Warren responded. He didn't feel like talking to Cassidy then. "Who is this young lady over here? It seems like you forgot to introduce us," Samuel said. It was hard for him to keep his eyes off Cassidy. She looked like something straight out of a fairy tale. Her beauty knew no boundaries. At first glance, she captures the attention of everyone around her and Samuel was caught right then and there. "I'm sorry. Cassidy Smith, I hope it's still Smith. This is my friends Samuel Wilson and Henry Allen," Warren said.

She nodded shyly. “She’s my sister,” Pio piped up, not wanting to be left out and I let out a small laugh at his response, nodding. I stretched a hand out and she looked back at her mom who nodded with an amused smile. She looked back at me uncertainly but shook my hand. “I’m Cassandra, but you can call me Case,” I introduced and she inspected my face with large doe-like eyes. “Are you Adam’s girlfriend?”

"Your name is Cassie Kane?" She sighed and nodded. "Please, no candy-cane jokes. I promise you, I've heard them all." Gio was shaking his head. "I actually was going to ask if Cassie is a nickname and your real name is Cassandra?" She nodded. "It is. How did you guess that?" Gio smiled. "Which one of your parents is the superhero fan?" She smiled back. "My Dad, Mom is more into computers and anime." "Please tell me you have a batgirl suit at home."

"No, that's not enough. Noah and I will go as well. I would also recommend that Cassidy join us." "Cassidy?" I trained with her yesterday, but I didn't consider her the best candidate for this mission. Also, just because she apologized didn't mean I wanted her around my mate. "Yes, she is not good at combat, but she is tech savvy. We don't know what defenses Jett has in place, so we need to be extremely vigilant." He had a good point, though. It could be some kind of Batman cave or something. "I suppose she can come then. I'll just...keep her close."

"There was this one user... WolfOfWallSt. He was the only person who actually talked to me. Everyone else just wanted codes or exploits. But he... he asked me how my day was. He debated philosophy with me. He taught me about corporate strategy." Cassie’s eyes grew warm. "I think... honestly, I think I fell in love with him a little bit. He was my only friend. He kept me sane when things were bad." She looked down at her glass. "I stopped logging in after my father found out about my skills. I always wondered what happened to him. If I could find him, I would just to know how he turned out and to thank him." "He waited." Aser said. Cassie looked up in confusion. "What?"

”They’re friends with Sam,” I repeated and mentally slapped myself for being so stupid. ”Yup, the bitch squad,” ”Is that their name?” She shrugged a shoulder. ”It’s my name for them,” ”What’s your name?” I asked. ”Cassy, it’s short for Casandra,” she said. ”I’m Gabby, it's short for Gabriella,” Cassy started laughing and I was befuddled. ”I know, you’re my Luna, remember?” I cringed when I heard that. I was nobody's Luna, or at least I didn't feel like one.
