THE UNMATED

THE UNMATED

Just when I thought my life was boring, seems like the whole drama was waiting for me. I changed into comfortable outfit which was a summer gown and a pair of sandals. I packed my hair into a rough bun and headed down for my usual evening stroll. "I am heading out. Do not make my dinner, I will be eating out" I told Sophie "Be safe, Annalise" I smiled at her and headed out adjusting my little bag. I walked from the house, to the nearby flowershop. I just liked being in this flowershop, the owners are old human couple who lost their children in a plane crash, so they live here with their grandchildren. "Good evening, Annalise. Your spot behind the shop has been reserved" Ma Peters said sendin

MISERABLE AT BEST

MISERABLE AT BEST

I refused to join them because I don't like to pretend I was enjoying a vacation when I have a lot of things going on in my mind. I started reading the book Aae left as a gift for Christmas. He went home while Tita Annly spent the breaks at the hospital. Like me, she's not fond of celebrating. I just visited the church during Christmas Eve and watched the fireworks outside the porch. It was sad, but I like it. I made a lot of realizations these past few days. I already touched the soft edge of the book when my eyes caught a glimpse of the flower pot near my coffee. The pink-fern like petals were swaying a little as the wind brushed against my hair.

Like this simple run to a storage unit to collect a baby book. Another minute passes while we wait for Pearl and I contemplate how dead the flowers are in the pots down below. It's gotten to the point I don't pay attention anymore. The big overflowing flowerpots blend into the background when I walk into the building. Eventually, right as I'm in the middle of mentally calculating the number of pots she's cleaning, there's a knock on the door and Winnie jumps up to answer it for Katy and Pearl.

OMG one of the BEST books I’ve read on this app. Freaking hilarious with lots of action and romance. I was literally LOL-ing. Like late at night. Laying in my bed. At 2am. Cause I couldn’t stop reading. I’m pretty sure you all know what I mean… could not stop reading!!!

Absolutely 1000% the best stories I have ever read!!! I was so hooked I have read almost 24 hours straight because I didn’t want to stop. I have laughed, smiled, been on edge when action unfolded, even shed a tear or 12 more in the last day reading this than in 40 years of daily reading. I want more

Corruption

Finally, Proserpina thought, sitting down in Athena’s swivel chair, the small book in hand, something interesting. How curious though, she mused to herself as she moves on to the second page–that there was no author’s name unlike the others, not even the usual Anonymous penname that most of Athena’s books had but there was a preface with a dried blue flower still tucked inside, clearly preserved with care (is that an anemone? She wasn’t sure and she didn’t want to touch it)… oh wait, that was wrong. This was a dedication. It goes like this:

The Broken Alpha

The Broken Alpha

Not against him. Then Atticus saw a crop of dead flowers. Their stems were a fresh, bright green, but their petals had wilted and withered until he could not tell what colour they had been before. Flowers were a change from the endless rolling fields he’d spent the better part of the morning marching through, so he went to them with an eagerness he had not displayed since he had been a child. Save for Lily’s eighteenth birthday, a dark part of his mind whispered snidely. Save for when you had a chance at love – before you ruined it all.

The Girl Who Loved Two Princes: The Series

"I know your parents had you swallow books by the dozen. Just never imagined they’d be about flowers." "I know you're joking, but you're not that far off. At age fifteen, I was The University of Caines’ youngest and brightest student when I started. Believe me, Mary’s list of books I had to have read by age ten had nothing to do with flowers. I learned about them quite recently actually. Figured it would be useful to know about flowers for particularly difficult women." "I'd hardly say I've been difficult. I shamelessly invited you into my pants." He gently laid his hands to rest on her lower back, taking in the way her eyes sparkled with joy as she smelled the flowers. She deserved more tha

Never Forgive You, My Ex-Husband

Never Forgive You, My Ex-Husband

A reminder of what we had before the noise, before the fights, before the poison of outsiders. Flowers first. She liked lilies once, though she claimed the smell was too heavy. Maybe roses instead—red, classic, undeniable. No woman ever turned away roses. And gifts. Jewelry? No, too obvious. Something thoughtful, personal. Something that said I remember you better than anyone. Maybe that first edition of the poetry book she used to dog-ear. I could track it down. Money wasn’t the issue. Effort was. She needed to see that I still knew her, still cared enough to chase the details.

SCORNED EX WIFE : Queen Of Ashes

SCORNED EX WIFE : Queen Of Ashes

"This was yours. From when you were Eleven." Camille recognized it instantly, the flowered cover, the small lock that had made her feel her thoughts were safe. She hesitated before taking it, unsure if she wanted to reconnect with the girl who had written in those pages. "I found it when we were cleaning out the attic," Margaret explained. " After we thought that you were dead." Camille opened the journal, her breath catching at the sight of her own childish handwriting. She skimmed entries about school achievements, friend troubles, dreams of becoming a famous scientist or musician or writer, the limitless ambitions of a child not yet touched by doubt.

I'm Out of Your League Now

I'm Out of Your League Now

"A hug and a kiss. Hold her close, and whisper an apology in her ear. Women are emotional creatures who crave intimacy. If you do this step, you won't even need the other two." Piercy's expression soured considerably. Like hell he needed someone else to teach him that. If he could do that, he would've done it already. Nevertheless, he immediately called the housekeeper, and later that evening, peacemaking gifts were brought to Millie. "Mrs. Atkinson, these flowers just bloomed in the garden. We thought they'd brighten up your room." A housekeeper placed a beautifully arranged bouquet of fresh flowers on the bedside table. The colors were carefully selected, and they made for an elegant displ

little bit misunderstanding is fiiine.. but I don't like such stupid plots with leads deliberately making remarks that'd let other lead to misunderstand and then each continue to live in their own delusional world making conclusions about each other. it's agonizing to read such stories...

The story still shows ongoing but there was no update today and the last update ended with a chapter not even a page long. Can we please get an update or at the very least a final chapter for Millie and Pierce’s happily ever after?

There was also a rolling ladder that gave access to the higher bookshelves, a polished wooden desk and a chair, and an overstuffed couch and reclining chair. It was a special place where I would be spending much of my time. I examined the books until a young maid knocked on the door. “Pardon me, Miss,” she said. “But several pots of flowers were delivered for you. We put them in your bedroom. Would you tell me how you want them to be displayed?” I followed her back to my bedroom and was delighted by the pots of colorful flowers perfuming the air. They were all different varieties of daisies, and a card was lying next to the largest pot.
