Why Does Don Lorenzo Have Gold Teeth Novels & Stories

"How are you so sure that I won't come back to hurt Stefano?" I chuckle, was this kid serious. I was giving him a once in a lifetime opportunity and that's what he has to say. "Your little confession was enough to prove that you don't have any intention of hurting Stefan. You had the opportunity years ago yet you allowed him to leave. The only reason you went after him was to get the diamond he stole. The diamond that rightfully belongs to him." Lorenzo bow his head in shame. "The only reason I wanted it was so that I can use it to start over. When your daughter decided to pay off the dept, I used it and paid all the men who I owed money to, what left wasn't enough to start over."

“You just don’t know it yet.” “I’ve been dead before,” Giovanni chuckled, stepping forward as his guards aimed their weapons at Lorenzo. “So believe me when I say, it’s overrated. But you, Don De Rossi… you have so much to live for. Your empire, your pride, your precious bride.” Lorenzo’s jaw clenched. His gun lowered slightly. “What the fuck do you want?” he hissed.

“Fearless, bold, with a stone face. Not like that doctor who behaves like a scaredy cat and the next moment he is behaving friendly.” Lorenzo chuckled. “Mathew is more than what you just described. He behaves that way most times to conceal his identity since he works with non mafia most times. He is a doctor in the hospital, you know.” “Is there even something like a stone face, blue eyes?” Lorenzo asked amidst laughter. “So I have a stone face?” he inquired. “Yes, but not anymore. I’ve successfully made your face so handsome and smiling to behold.” “Is that so?” Lorenzo asked jokingly.

"Because I know where Dante is, and you don't." I stepped forward, ignoring Sofia's warning glance. "Why should we believe anything you say? You're clearly working for Antonio." Lorenzo finally turned to look at us. In the candlelight, I could see the resemblance to Dante more clearly. They had the same strong jawline, though Lorenzo's features were softer, and his eyes were a light shade of brown. "It's complicated," he said, standing up carefully with his hands still raised. "Yes, I work for Antonio. But not by choice."

The man pleaded. “You knew all of these before you attempted to get into bed with the same people trying to bring me down and I’m extending to you an olive branch but yet, you consider me a fool?” Lorenzo asked. “You’re right, Don Lorenzo. I won’t lose my heir over some cartel ring.” My man began in a resigned voice. “I have more cartels under my belt and I can always get more if I desire. But, I only have one heir and I will not lose him, not for anything in this world.”

I narrowed my eyes at him, ignoring his teasing smirk; I wasn't in the mood. I turned to him. "Is the gift ready?" Ken nodded. "Yes, sir. I made sure it's made from the purest gold." From what I'd heard, the new mafia king loved luxury jewelry. I smiled slightly, taking deep breaths to calm my thoughts. I had to make a good impression on the Genovese family – the Don of Mexico.

"I want everyone to know your face, to know what the Don's wife looks like. If anyone even looks at you the wrong way, I'll gouge out their eyes myself." "You and your temper." "Only for you." The music slowly faded. The entire hall fell silent. All eyes were on us. Lorenzo released my hand. Then, in front of the entire assembly of family members, he knelt on one knee before me. He took a black velvet box from his inner suit pocket. It snapped open. Inside lay an antique diamond ring, the symbol of the family's highest authority. The gang members around us erupted into a roar. "Long live the Don and Donna!" they cheered in thunderous Italian.

Most of his choices were actually good, I hated that too. A woman approached carrying a jewelry tray. Diamonds sparkled beneath the lights. I immediately stepped back. "No." Lorenzo barely looked up. "Yes." "I'm not wearing that." "You are." "Why?" His eyes finally met mine. "Because you're a De Luca." There it was again. That is, the universal solution to every argument. I hated how effective it was. The saleswoman nervously offered a necklace. I reached for it. At the same moment, Lorenzo did.

One voice cut through the others like a blade. “…the shipment routes are compromised. If Enzo thinks he can run his own plays behind my back, he’s more stupid than I gave him credit for.” My stomach dropped. That voice. Deep, controlled, laced with quiet fury. I’d only heard it a handful of times—at family dinners Enzo dragged me to, always from across the room. Dante Moretti. Enzo’s father. The Don. I froze, glass halfway to my lips again. What the hell was he doing here? Enzo said this was our night. Private.

As smoothly as it had come, I clamped my lips shut, inhaling deeply. "Of course I know, I did my research, asshole. But you know what else you didn't consider? Having ownership of that fucking goldmine isn't bringing me threats, offers are pouring from everywhere because you all fuckers want it in your hands. So, should I sell it to the Castello minor family?" Moss green eyes darkened, muscles of the jaw ticking, palms clenching. Good, good. I ran my tongue through my teeth, digging deep till I tasted blood, then I laughed again, a strange foreign sound that I could barely recognize.
