The Search for Freedom

She also wanted to help me solve my problems from little to huge, perhaps to be able to regain her loss. I realized that not all who made a mistake was totally wicked. Sometimes they only need another opportunity to prove that they had change and would not do what they did before. What someone should do was to give that person another chance because they deserve it. However, there were some people who wouldn't apologize though they knew they had hurt others. Those kind of people were defending their wrong belief. Perhaps they thought life was a weather: sometimes good and sometimes bad. Those who were hurt by them, they believed they were unlucky and those who weren't affected by their attac

After the divorce, she became a female billionaire

After the divorce, she became a female billionaire

“Bertha, I was wrong, please forgive me.” Kerenza's posture at this moment was extremely pathetic, her face was full of pleading words. “I can't lose this job, I was wrong, please forgive me.” Bertha didn't say a word, as if she was waiting for Kerenza to continue. “I was wrong just now, I shouldn't have insulted you, please forgive me. I will not forget this gratitude, I really can't lose this job, I don't want to be blacklisted in the business world."

Shattered Heart: My Owner is the Mafia Alpha

Shattered Heart: My Owner is the Mafia Alpha

Rebecca continued to question. "Like I said. I came to realize I did you wrong. In fact, I was wrong about who I should have been punishing this whole time." Despite Christian's comments, Rebecca was still at a loss in this whole situation. "The world is better off without people who dare mock others for their misfortune. Even more so when they fail to truly comprehend that the misfortunate never asked to have the life they were forced to live. To constantly be looked down on and targeted for other's amusement and... 'satisfaction'. To be belittled for what they were born with or born as, instead of being seen for the person they are.”

As long as the people were blinded, they would not be able to differentiate between right and wrong. “Thomas Mayo, do you want to ruin my plan? “In your dreams!”

The story is fast paced unlike most of the stories. I am thrilled to read each chapter. While the plot is similar with other novels of the same genre, I love the way the author develops each character. I also love it very much that chapters are longer and require less coins to open.

I don't think it is right to just quit from ur title being god of war. You have so much effort and sacrifices just to be in that title. Hardships in life will not end how can you depend your love ones if you are that powerless. Maybe you can leave temporarily but not resigned.

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

"Those who do wrong are bound to face the consequences. I hope you understand this principle." "I haven't done anything wrong," Gia argued unreasonably. "I was only thinking of myself... Is that also wrong?" "It's not wrong to think of yourself, but it shouldn't come at the expense of hurting others." "Hah! I'm different from you." Gia sneered. "You're the Thompsons' princess. Even if you've spent 20 years as an ordinary person, the Jenners still treat you like a precious gem! "But what about me? I have nothing! Apart from stepping on others to climb up, I have no other options!"

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

Memory of the Wronged

Memory of the Wronged

That word said everything. It meant Mary had noticed something long ago but she never took it seriously. Maybe she even allowed it to happen, convincing herself it was just harmless fun. I couldn’t stop laughing. “When disappointment cuts deep enough, sometimes all that’s left is laughter,” I thought bitterly. Ben took a step forward. “We were wrong,” he said coldly, “but you’re not innocent either. For three years, I thought about sending you back to your old town. I was even willing to give you money, as much as you wanted. But you were too greedy.”

Maybe Wrong, Maybe Right

“They won’t treat you any different.” “No,” she replied. “That’s not…I’m wondering how I’m going to apologise to Missus Lowry.” “You aren’t going to apologise.” “I have to. It’s my fault Elize is-” “It’s mine. I made the deal. Elize decided to drug the staff and attack her grandmother, not you. You are the princess, you do not apologise to your subordinates.” “Even if I am wrong?” “Yes, even if you’re wrong. Always stand by your decisions.”

Chase.

Chase.

‘You would be lying right beside him,’ Freyja reminded me. ‘I know,’ I sighed. ‘It’s just not fair that he could screw up so much and then I still pretty much have to forgive him.’ Freyja shifted around. She was restless with the proximity to Liam’s wolf. ‘You made mistakes, too.’ I bit back my response, knowing it wasn’t worth getting into a points keeping contest. Two wrongs don’t make a right, anyhow. Just maybe, though, two wrongs could bring us to a fresh start.
