“That’s what we’re meant to do, right?”
“Right,” someone said from within the group, and it spurred a response from them all, heads nodding, brows scowling. They were frustrated with being kept in the bunker, bored and wanting some action. A door opened down the hall and someone stuck their head out, bleary eyed. Cameron could see bunks in the room behind him, lumpy with sleeping soldiers.
“Right,” Rhett’s nod was uncompromising. “So that’s what we’re going to do,” he looked at Cameron. “Right?”
