I had a strange dream or it was my imagination as I repeated the stories I read. I kept my eyes closed and tried to remember what I saw. I got lost in a dark cave, I was lonely and scared. I heard the beast growl. It was not like any other wild animal. It was something from another world. I ran away, but the beast was getting closer and closer, and then everything went quiet. I turned and sighed when I saw the light filling the cave. But it was not light, it was a wave of fire, green and purple flames that will burn me alive.

Yes, she still had a modelling career. " I read your book." Beauty nudged Florence playfully. " Oh wow. Thank you. How was it?" " Magical. It was the best I've ever read." Beauty smiled. " I'm glad you liked it." " You know if you want to, Mason and I would be open to your muse." Beauty pouted. " You want me to write a book about you?" " Yes. It's one of the wildest desire I've had." " You've given me an idea. How about 'His Wildest Desire'?"

I cursed myself for entertaining such treacherous thoughts, but they persisted, flooding my mind with unwanted visions. I imagined the gentle brush of his fingertips, the soft caress of his lips, and the shiver-inducing sensation of his mouth on mine. My mind's eye conjured images of myself beneath him, arching in ecstasy as he awakened sensations I'd never known. The Darkness within me reveled in these depraved fantasies, refusing to relinquish its hold on my imagination.

The morning air was cool, brushing her damp skin, but it did nothing to quiet the heat flooding her veins. This wasn’t the first time. For weeks now, she’d woken with dreams she couldn’t explain, she was either chasing shadows, running through forests that didn’t exist, or hearing whispers that weren’t hers. And this one was different. This dream had a person. Or a wolf, she couldn't tell. She passed by the mirror and her reflection startled her. Her wide grey eyes, and pink flushed cheeks, her white hair was sticking out in rough strands to her skin. And for one tiny second so fast she could swear it, she imagined it her eyes shined gold.

I’ve been searching for you in places, remember? ‘Hey, I was busy trying to awaken, drama queen.’ Victoria was full-on spiraling beside me, hands flapping like she was trying to swat invisible bees. “Princess…oh my Goddess…the King is going to kill me! He’s already on his way, I can hear the SUVs! I cannot be caught with a giant white wolf wandering around a human town! Do you know what that looks like on the news? What if they capture you and lock you up in some madman science lab?’”

Her breath trembled as something inside her cracked—not with breaking, but with release. She closed her eyes, drawing the wildfire closer, not to crush it, not to run—but to face it. The whispers tore at her, but she pushed back with her own voice, raw and burning: “I am not your kindling. I am not your ruin. I am flame, and flame is mine to carry.” The wildfire shuddered, sparks bursting outward like a thousand tiny stars. The dark edges burned away, leaving only fierce, golden light that wrapped around her like a mantle.

The scenario I painted in my mind was dire – a war, my unborn pup in jeopardy, surrounded by a relentless pack of wolves. I closed my eyes once more, envisioning the urgency of survival. The sensation of protecting the life growing within me ignited a fire, and I channeled that energy toward my outstretched hands. The forest around me faded as the vivid mental image took precedence. The growls of imaginary wolves echoed in my mind, pushing me to summon the light that could repel the impending threat.

Many can enter altered states of consciousness. Collective madness is present in the different scenarios of life, socially, politically, religiously and in our way of thinking. But there is a big difference in those degrees of insanity. The madness of a few who are misunderstood for the moment, will be the sanity of the future.
