Each of them was worse than the last. She knew damn well that Harrison was going to blow hot when he saw her, but she did not care, or she did and was just trying to convince herself otherwise. Willow had told Abigail and Barbara that she would snatch Marshall, she would have to start working on that from today at the party. She could not waste any more time. One of Willow's sweaty hands strayed from her lap where she had them clasped together to the mating mark on her neck. She would have to reject Harrison if she were to ever get together with Marshall.

Gia didn't see it coming; the violent act didn't match Willow's sorrowful demeanor. "HEY!" Rose yelled, pulling Gia away from Willow. "Just remember this—I won't stay silent! How dare you!" Willow shouted, attempting to strike Gia again, but Rose quickly shielded her. Though Willow was tall and willowy, Rose was still a few centimeters taller. Rose's quick movement made Willow hesitate and step back. Willow's forlorn image vanished, replaced by dry eyes and a face twisted in anger. Her green eyes, once mournful, now glared menacingly at Gia like a doll from a horror movie, ready to haunt anyone who ignored her.

Layla POV All the pups that Willow brought with her now have homes; it never ceases to amaze me how quickly children can adapt to new surroundings. Willow and Riley have marked each other. Willow is a beautiful she-wolf with a loving nature; Riley and Willow are perfect for each other. Darius and I are on our way to my territory; Anita has gone into labor, and Diana is there, but both Zach and Anita have asked if I could be with her in case Zach passes out as Drew did.

But then, another challenge arises. Willow is flattered by Jim's attention, but she doesn't want to betray her husband or damage her friendship with Jim. She's not sure how to handle the situation, and she doesn't want to hurt anyone. When Willow talks to Jim, she explains that while she appreciates his friendship, she's not interested in pursuing a romantic relationship. She tells him that she wants to continue helping him get back on his feet, but she doesn't want to lead him on. Jim is disappointed but understanding. Between fits of giggles, Penelope leaned closer and whispered, "You know, Little-angel, I've heard something intriguing. Apparently, our colleague housekeeper, Willow, has been harboring a secret crush on Mr.Christopher!" My eyes widened with curiosity. "No way, really? The charming Christopher?" Penelope nodded, her eyes gleaming mischievously. "Oh, indeed! And rumor has it that she'll stop at nothing to keep any girl away from him, except for Daisy, Christopher's girlfriend. Willow seems a bit afraid of her." As if on cue, Willow sauntered by the kitchen doorway, her eyes fixed on me with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine. I gulped nervously, feeling her icy gaze pierce through

“So, young lady, please introduce yourself.” Willow looked at Nita and smiled. It was an added advantage that she wore a happy expression. Nita rolled her eyes and looked at Willow. “Don’t screw things up,” Willow whispered as he avoided her gaze. “My pleasure, I am Nita and Willow here is my Fiancé.” “Really?” Bitley uttered but his voice portrayed that he was not satisfied with her response. Nita nodded. “Tell me about Willow, could it be you both are just acting so he can get the deal?”

He gave us a curt nod. Lory stretched her hand out to him. He took it in greeting. “I apologize for what happened last night. It was my fault for taking Willow there.” He shook his head. “Miss Adams, please don’t blame yourself for the actions of a drunken moron.” Lory kept her eyes on him. “Willow is my best friend. I consider her my sister. Please promise me that nothing improper will happen when she meets Mr. Rowe. I do not care how rich and powerful he is. If he so much as offends her, I will find a way to pay him back ten times over. He may be richer, but I sure as hell am smarter.”
