The Master's Child

The Master's Child

Taken from us too soon. Beloved Sister and Mother. A small vase sits at the base of the stone, containing the wilted remains of wildflowers. I don't know what they are; white and pink and blue; I saw something like them growing in the verges. What does one do at a time like this? I have no experience, no frame of reference to fit against. Am I supposed to cry? But I have no tears. And no desire for them. Was this a waste of time?

From Dust to Ashes: A scorned Bride

From Dust to Ashes: A scorned Bride

Only he doesn't; he keeps on walking out of the door and along the corridor. My grapes have also gone. The stalks look like dead trees on a crumpled brown-paper plain. Beside them, a basket of flowers has started to wilt. The begonias and tulips are losing their petals like fat fan dancers, dusting the top of the table with pollen. A small white card embossed with a silver scroll is wedged between the stems. I can't read the message.

My Vampire Professor

My Vampire Professor

This was the perfect distraction, but now that it was over, the thoughts of earlier slammed into my brain. “Something happened earlier…” I whispered. He kissed the top of my head gently and his fingers traced my spine. “What is it?” He asked, sleepily. “I was walking home, and I saw a flower that wilted,” I told him slowly. “I stopped to look at the flower, feeling sorry for it.” “You felt sorry for a wilted flower?” He asked and I could hear the smile in his voice. I lifted my head so I could look at him as I nodded.

Poisonous Flower

Poisonous Flower

Now, battered and barely clinging to life, he lay on his back in the blood-soaked grass, staring up at the endless sky. "Rena… I—I've avenged you… "At first, I just thought… Lily was my first love, and she was suffering. You were my mate, and you loved me so much… I thought you'd understand. That you'd forgive me for saving her…" "But now… I'm dying too. I'm sorry… I was wrong… Can you ever forgive me?" Regret filled his eyes as tears slipped down his face. However, I felt nothing. I only felt my soul growing lighter and weightless.

LOVING HER DUKE

LOVING HER DUKE

Beth flicked a flower petal and pulled lightly on a dead leaf, removing it from the main plant. "Yes, it has. I traded flowers with Lady Witte. A few primroses and snowdrops for pansies." Lady Marjorie said, touching the flower plant beside her. "Don't you just love this flower? They appear haunted, but are one of life's best. They symbolize nostalgia and remembrance." She stood up. "But no matter how charming they are, we would not talk about them, I think we should gather and source…" Beth walked farther, crossing over to the other side. She studied the flower the Dowager Duchess spoke of; her new interest. It had a distinct look of melancholy and thoughtfulness, and the more she stared at

Escaping From My Ruthless Alpha

Escaping From My Ruthless Alpha

I drift off quickly, exhausted from the day, but my rest doesn’t last long. The dream comes again, just as vivid as before. Rmonica stands in her beautiful garden, a serene smile on her face as she tends to the flowers. The colors are vibrant, petals glistening under the soft morning sun. But then, night falls, and the shadows deepen. A cloaked figure appears once again, moving silently among the flowers, carrying the same vial of poison. This time, though, their steps are more hurried, the liquid they pour onto the soil darker, thicker. The poison seeps into the ground faster, spreading its tendrils through the roots of every flower. One by one, the blooms begin to shrivel, the petals crumb

This is a wonderful book and I truly hope that there is happiness for Kamryn on the other side of all her traumatic experiences. I will say that the author weaves complexity in her characters that makes us love and hate them at the same time.

I loved this book. The character growth and story progression were excellent. The author is also able to create side stories with all of the characters in the book. Lorien and Lyssa, Orion and Rmonica, Kevyn and Thalia. This book is a great example of a seasoned author.

Immortal’s Tale Book 1

Immortal’s Tale Book 1

But I try to keep it alive and still water it every day. I sat down on the chair and looked down at the flower. Next to it is the black orchid I bought. I don't know if it's true, because I've never seen her flower bloom. How come, I don't wake up in the middle of the night. If you wake up, it's morning when the flower folds again. "Why are you dying? I'm watering you," I asked the wilting flower as if it would answer. It's a shame because the flower is beautiful.

The Alpha Prince's Forbidden Scent

The Alpha Prince's Forbidden Scent

If you take life… I knelt near the back path where the hydrangeas still bloomed in their scattered pride—some pink, some blue, some white, as if they couldn't decide who they wanted to be. Lyra used to say they were shapeshifter flowers, always changing their truth depending on the soil. But one caught my eye. A single stalk. Smaller than the rest. Wilted and dry, slumped forward like it had given up. It wasn’t that far from the others—but still far enough to be alone.

Wilted Petals of Love

Wilted Petals of Love

He showered me with an abundance of care and attention. At that time, whenever he came across something novel or interesting, he would always bring it to me first. He was the person who dispelled the fear and unease lingering in my heart with his love and care. But all those beautiful moments vanished on that chaotic night like a mirage. Trapped by someone else's scheme, he gave me an intoxicating "dream" that I couldn't resist sinking into. When the effects of the drug wore off, however, he showed me that the cruelty of the prince of the Hare City's circle was no mere rumor. My dreams were shattered piece by piece under his cold gaze and heartless words.

The Pinnacle of Life

The Pinnacle of Life

“The flower… The flower is wilting.” Indeed, the initially bright red flower on the woman’s belly had wilted in the blink of an eye, its petals turning gray. At that moment, the woman opened her mouth. There was a terrified look in her eyes. She was staring at Waltz, and she wanted to cry for help. However, her life slowly wilted away just as the flower did. She was dead! Waltz covered her mouth while tears flowed down her cheeks. Suddenly, the woman’s stomach tore apart with a crack.

I would love to have a no ending novel. But what we can expect. There will always be an ending. I think there will be a new story that will open on the last chapter whereas turn out to be Alex knows what will happen on his future. I wish the author continue like that… Thanks for this. Worth it…!!!!

i thought he'd be successful going and dominating the chi universe after obtaining the fiend lord's memories and start story with Zendaya... it would have been better if the diffracted universe had not been destroyed and he finally gets to live a peaceful life after all these........ But I loved it.
