I am the dragon III

I am the dragon III

I fell on top of Abeloth with a thud as the jet lost altitude and I never looked back once. “Fly like you’ve never flown before Abeloth,” I yelled down at him. “What do you think I’m doing?” he roared back at me as I clung for dear life as Abeloth increased his speed. I was praying to whoever would listen to keep them safe. I had no idea what was going on but if Kaida was afraid then I was afraid. Kaida was a fierce dragoness, one that wouldn’t let anyone hurt Wynter or Echo, they were both a part of her.

The Dragon's unexpected mate

The Dragon's unexpected mate

Loras' body contracts and he lets out a groan as the salty taste fills her mouth. She smiles and gets next to him, wrapping her arms around his now relaxed body. "Woman... If I knew what that mouth could do I would have lost our little bet since before we made it." He sighs and pulls her closer in a tight cuddle. "Now will give me the answers?" She asks. "Ah yes... That's the other thing that mouth can do." "Annoy you?" "Greatly. But It's worth it." He sighs dramatically and Astrid laughs. "The dragon's fire kills everything it touches. The only exception are members of the royal bloodline. Dragon tamers."

The Dragons of Edon

The Dragons of Edon

Its tail was lizard-like, though scale-less as the rest of it, and without the distinctive small fins at the tip such as a Dragon had. Ghaeron spread his wings and flapped upward toward the thing, spewing flame when he got near. The beast flinched and moved away from the fire, but was not seriously injured. It flapped and maneuvered as well, engaging in a pattern that had the two airborne foes circling one another in the sparse clouds. It cried out in defiance, and spat a mass of yellowish ichor at the Dragon. Ghaeron swerved, but some of the substance splashed across his hip. He dove and then turned the action into a climb, pivoting and flapping quickly. He flamed the beast again, bringing

The Dragon King's Betrothed

The Dragon King's Betrothed

The sizzling sound and steam emanating from its wing explained the sound of pain. The acid had singed its wings. "Ramon!" I screamed. The dragon's eyes softened at me. It then lifted its wing from my view and hissed and glared at the viper. The viper slithered towards us, its eyes narrowing to slits. The dragon planted a foot back, and its mouth parted, revealing the orange light from within. "Oh boy." I backed away. The dragon roared, and the biggest fireball I had ever seen shot out of its mouth, striking the incoming serpent. The serpent's loud hiss as it was treated to a roasting session was all I heard, and it became still. In mere seconds, it was reduced to bones.

The Price Of Fate

The Price Of Fate

Rage flashed through me. I climbed. The dragon saw me coming and twisted, its tail whipping across the air. I dropped beneath it, folded one wing, then rose along its blind side. Seraphina’s instinct guided my strike. Not throat first. Wing joint. Weaker. Slower to defend. I sank my claws into the joint where wing met shoulder and tore. The dragon bellowed. Its body rolled, trying to crush me beneath it. I released just before its weight turned. Another Emberfall dragon came from above and struck it hard enough to drive it lower. I followed, breathing fire across its damaged wing. It fell through smoke, not dead, but grounded, and the moment it hit, three Vaelcryns surged over it.

The Dragon King's Claim

The Dragon King's Claim

Too slow. My claws slam into the first dragon before he even finishes turning. Bone cracks. Scales split. The creature tumbles from the sky in a spiral of blood and fire. Another dragon lunges at my flank. I twist midair and rake my claws across his wing. He drops instantly. Around me Emberhold’s dragons crash into Malrec’s forces like a falling storm. The sky becomes a battlefield of wings, fire, and tearing steel. But I barely notice. Because Seraphina is still there.

Sacrificed to the Dragon Prince

Sacrificed to the Dragon Prince

She was the very first fire dragon. Oaestr then turned to the other little hatchling, Faeyr’s twin, and smiled a very special smile. He was a dull black color with a red iridescence, like a hidden warmth within darkness. “You remind me so much of your father, my beloved shadow drake.” She cooed. “But you are not a creature of shadows. You burn like your sister like the blood within me burns for your father. I shall call you Bleyd.” The little drake, the very first blood dragon, roared in delight. Together with his sister, they flew around the cave, twisting and twirling around one another, always together, just like all dragons carry fire within their blood.

The writing is clunky at times, but the story and the characters are mesmerizing. This was my first dragon romance, and it was incredible. So glad the sequel has already started because the ending is criminal. I want to see all my favorites find their happiness.

Alpha, Prince, Revenge: Which Comes First?

Alpha, Prince, Revenge: Which Comes First?

he bent down to her level and whispered to her ear, “... If you don't kill him, I will and you know what that means.” I hesitated before saying, “Boss, the request said that he can only be killed by fire. I know that am out of line but last time I checked, werewolves don't have fire within them.” “Oh, I know. But...” he opened his left palm and a small yellowish red flame appeared. It floated above his arm and I could feel the flame gravitating towards me like a beacon. Dragons know each other by the fire that they emit. My dragon fire had not met any dragon in years and while this flame made it very happy, it made me very scared.

SOLD TO THE VOID ALPHA: THE REJECTED HEIRESS

SOLD TO THE VOID ALPHA: THE REJECTED HEIRESS

"You’re the one who whispered to me in the dark when the Council was carving into my bones. You’re the 'Extinction' they were so afraid of." The figure—the Red-Winged Dante—stepped into the light. It was a perfect, terrifying blend of us. It had Dante’s lethal, massive frame and his predator’s stance, but from its spine erupted a pair of wings that were an exact, burning replica of mine. They weren't made of "Void-Lead" or "Obsidian-Gold." They were made of Primal Fire, a deep, arterial red that seemed to drink the light from the room.

Called by the Dragon

Called by the Dragon

The dragonet let out a sound like a cross between a purr and a snarl before lowering her serpentine neck and sunning herself on the broad rock by the water. “I see you’re still not talking to me. Considering that I know for a fact now that you can talk, that’s hurtful.” Anzi ripped up several grass blades and tossed them in the reptile’s direction. “You talked to that piscin girl instead. So either I’m just a chump, or she’s extra special. Either way, it means you don’t like me very much, huh?” She should have known better than to try to play the pity card with Netra. Not only was she terrible at it in the first place, the dragonet had no pity to spare. She only opened one scaly lid to give
