Winner Takes All Novels & Stories

He made it sound like war. "Remember the price kids, so put in your best," Melissa said, she looked at me and explained " whichever team wins two out of three games will get to have anything they ask for throughout the week. The current champions are Jaden and John. Jo, here, wants something so she's going to try everything she can to win today. So, be careful, it can get a lot competitive" I should be careful? I'm the embodiment of competition. I smiled at her and the picking of teams began.

"You and me, right here. The winner takes everything—the territory, the company, everything. And whoever loses calls their people off." I looked at him for a long moment. "Everything," I said. "Everything," he replied. His voice was steady. Whatever he was, Brian Norwood had never been a coward. I handed my phone to Fen and took off my jacket. "Fine," I said.

Royal’s POV "The Iron-Vail Pack takes the prize," the announcer shouted, his voice echoing off the high ceilings. "Alpha Philip and his four brothers are the winners." The words hit me like a shot of adrenaline. I leaned back in my chair, a slow smirk spreading across my face. It felt like the entire world had just been handed to me on a silver platter. I could feel the heat of a hundred glares burning into my back. Every other Alpha in this room was vibrating with pure, unadulterated jealousy.

“So desperate to win your money back? Are times so tough for billionaires these days? I thought you claimed your title wasn't worthless.” He smiled, and it did not meet his eyes. “A game for just the two of us. Winner takes all.” “Why would I do that?” Andrei indicated his own entire pile of chips. “For this.” The blood rushed from my head, making me dizzy. “All of that?” I gasped. He gave me a single nod.

I almost admired it. “Listen,” I said, stepping back slightly, spreading my arms like a generous god. “You and I… we’re the same age. Both billionaires. Both men of influence. But you…” I jabbed a finger toward him, “You’re nothing compared to me. You don’t have the stomach for this. You play fair sometimes. That’s cute. But fair doesn’t win wars.” “You aren’t going to win any…” “I don’t think, Oscar. I know I’ve won.”

“Anyone can compete for it. But only one will win. And with it… exclusive rights to the full video.” As he stepped down from the stage, I stormed toward him. “What the fuck are you doing, Thorne?” He draped an arm casually over my shoulder, his breath brushing my ear. “You like to win, don’t you, darling? I just thought I’d raise the stakes. But don’t worry—” he smiled, cruel and beautiful—“I’m sure you can win it back. You’re so lucky at the poker table, after all.” A low whistle broke through behind me.

What's the price gift? "The price gift? Oh the winner can- "Let it be their pick!" "Eh?" John blinked, "Sir?" "Let it be their pick." He said again, authoritative. "Winner gets what they want. Their choice. Let It be that." Let It be that? So why bother asking in the first place, you've already made all the decisions. "Err... o-okay." John stuttered awkwardly, laughing to clear his throat. Clear the air. "Winner gets to choose everyone. Anything you want at all!"

Ray asked. "That's up to the winner," Felicia said, clearly that she would be making the final decision. "The individual matchups will be just one race. Like before, the winner gets something from the loser. So, like, if a girl loses she'll take off a piece of clothing. But if a boy loses, he has to do something for the girl. Or if the girl is already naked then same thing." "That makes sense," Courtney said. "What if no one wins? What if, like, computer Yoshi takes the race?" Ray asked.

But as the commentator said, this is not a game for kids. "WELL, THE TIME IS UP TO LEAVE NOW. YOU ALREADY KNOW THE RULES, WHOEVER WINS ALL THE ROUNDS GET TO FIGHT WITHHHHH MEEE!" The crowd started shouting in disappointment. Everyone knows the rules, whoever wins all the rounds gets to fight with Julian and whoever wins Julian has to fight with me. Till now no one has ever beaten me. And after Julian came, no one can beat him except for me. So, I decided to put him before me because only I can beat him.

None of them were even close to being as embarrassing as yesterday, not even when a nurse had to help me with a bedpan. ******** Day 7******** "All champions that fought a beast have moved on. All may challenge one another to prove they deserve the top spot. The last man standing goes first as the Winning champion. The order after his pick will be based on the fastest beast kill time. Then we move on to the champions from days three and four who lost. The longer they lasted in their battle against the top contenders, the higher their ranking. May the strongest win," The announcer yells, and my eyes look towards the sea of bodies for the first time in hours.
