Daphne’s POV I laid on the bed watching a movie as Andrew had advised, being too focused on the revenge plan isn’t good for my mental health. As much as I hated them, I didn’t want to lose myself to vengeance…I still wanted a portion of myself to be kept alive. The FL in the movie was an example of the sweet part…Daphne Lycanster was an example of a naive and sweet girl, that’s what Andrew wanted me to preserve.

The fire glowed brightly, and I could feel the infinity sign on my neck stiffen. Professor Raven walked up to my table, her mouth opening in shock. “Goodness! Gracious! Who are you?” “My name is Daphne. I’m the new scholarship student,” “Wow!” She gasped. “I can see why you got a scholarship. You’re brilliant. You combined the lust plus desire technique without being taught. And the fire ball, it was large. Well done, Daphne,”

Asher's PoV The engagement party was over. I took Daphne away from the crowd while people were still busy enjoying the party that was still going on. The DJ music was blasting everyone, and the wine was delicious. I brought a bottle of wine for both of us without glasses. I opened the bottle and invited Daphne to have the first sip. Daphne downed the wine quickly, much like she was drinking water. She then laughed widely and handed me the open bottle. Daphne's body swayed. The wine almost soaked her dress.

she greeted him with a slight blush, her demeanor a mix of nerves and admiration. Freya and I shared an understanding glance. Who would’ve thought Mason was so charming? At an event like this, a girl took the initiative to chat him up. "May I know who you are?" Mason asked in puzzlement, raising an eyebrow. "I'm Daphne Wexler, and we’ve never met. My family is in the real estate business,” Daphne introduced herself, her face turning even redder. She looked at Mason with a shy gaze. It was clear to anyone what she thought of him.

Stopping, Persephone jumped back, looking up and saw an albino girl standing on a cliff, with her white locks flowing in the air, hands on her waist, smiling at her. “Woah, please halt, Miss Phoenix.” She smiled, getting down. “Number 2, hmm?” Persephone noticed the number on her hand, contemplating her form to know her strength but it surely is lower than hers. Well at least it’s not someone I know. She sighed internally, reaching to fight her. “Yes. Daphne, My Lady and I apologize but I cannot allow you to go further.” She bowed a little, putting her hand on her chest. “Move out of my way.” Persephone ordered, not in the mood for unnecessary fights.
