“Is it because of—?” Oliver nodded. “Yes, partly because of him. Our child.” Her breath trembled. The music changed — deeper, older — and Thorn stepped forward with Kira at his side. They approached a circular platform in the center, where a glowing ring of runes activated beneath their feet. “What are they doing?” Jenna whispered. Natally smiled. “One wish ritual. A blessing of intent. Each Fae couple places a wish for the next turning of the year.” Oliver guided Jenna toward the platform, moving with a confidence that settled her nerves.

The wizard would strike his staff on the ground and casted spells aloud and the whole sky would turn dark with great light emitting from the staff and its ray beginning to melt the wolves. It eventually forced the wolves to vanish to the amazement of everyone who watched the scene. Once the wolves were gone, the sky returned back to normal and the wizard turned and smiled at them. “I had thought my sister would help but remembered that she didn’t know how to diffuse the Inca spell” the wizard stated. “What is the Inca spell though?” Levi asked with curiosity written on his face.
