No one else was around—just the two of them going at it. To him, this was what should’ve been called mad. A spectral eagle—an imitation of the one the sylph was on—attacked the salamander. In beast form, the salamander quickly dodged the eagle’s strikes. His green tail stretched into the air, coiling around the ethereal bird. He was ready to breathe fire and burn it. The sylph had to be the sigilmaker. Her blue sigils decorated her porcelain skin, covering half her face, arms, and the exposed parts of her long legs. Her hands motioned to control the specter, clearly a creation from her sigil.

How do you explain the sigil that led us here?” The witch raised trembling hands. “I… I swear I didn't.” Look there. ”She pointed to a corner near the storage door. “My cloak. Inside it, you will find the Lakeville coven sigil embroidered at the hem of it. My real coven real sigil… it has absolutely nothing to do with an interlocked circle…Just look.”
