Their territories are well-protected, and it’s uncommon for them to wander far except when gathering herbs or special ingredients for rituals and ceremonies. The closest creatures that exist are Druids, Mages, and, of course, Shifters. That whole changing into bats and cats is probably from someone witnessing a shifter changing form. I noticed that my words caught Callie’s attention; she lifted her chin slightly, focusing on me. "My methods may not have been the most correct, but my intentions were genuine. Rigan is the one chosen by our Goddess to guide us through what is to come!"

I shout out to the god in my head and it just laughs out loud. “You wanted power. I gave you power!” The god says. Everyone is dead. there’s no one left. All the magic, all the witches. all of them are gone. The deity sucked the very magic and life out of them. All in minutes, “This is not what I wanted!” I say with a shriek. “Yes it is. What did you think would happen? I am the deity of greed. I am always hungry. I constantly need to devour. You wanted power and now you have the power of all the witches you just killed.” The deity taunts me.
