Witchcraft Spellbook Novels & Stories

I closed my eyes as I stepped out and stood in front of the large gates, a tear slipped out of my eyes as memories flooded through my mind. James wrapped his arms around me and warmth flooded through my body relaxing every nerve present, a few more tears slipped my eyes and then I finally opened them. I moved ahead and the gates opened as usual. The gates were protected by magic, they could only open if a witch or a wizard was approaching it. It was to protect the people and the world to separate it from the rest of the human universe. It was a beautiful world above the clouds.

It was bound in dark leather, the title barely legible: "The Lament of the Moon." With trembling hands, I opened the book and began to read. It spoke of powerful spells and ancient rituals, many of which had been lost to time. As I turned the pages, one spell in particular stood out. It was a spell of protection, capable of shielding the entire town from harm. But there was a catch—it required a rare ingredient: the heart of a Silverwood tree. I had heard legends of the Silverwood trees, ancient and powerful, but thought them to be long extinct. The book mentioned that the heart of the tree could amplify magic, making the protection spell almost impenetrable.

To endanger my child? "But I don't understand! Why is she doing this? What does she gain from the rogues being so powerful?" Xander looked conflicted, and for the first time, I saw his raw emotions in his eyes. "There's an acient sorcery spell book, meant to be protected tightly by the witches. Its a book of dark magic. There was an ancient myth that said the doer of such spells is soon to be possessed by the magic. She was forced, and now, its controlling her. I can barely recognise her and I can't-"

Penelope said, beaming with joy. Aiden raised his eyebrows in surprise. "The last known book of witches? That sounds interesting. What's it about?" "Well," Penelope began, flipping through the pages, "it's about a powerful potion and medical procedures that can supposedly get rid of any monster that's taken over a person's body. It's called the Spell of Exorcism." "Exorcism?" Aiden chimed in, looking up from his sandwich. "Isn't that what they do to evil spirits in horror movies?"

My blood rushing to warm my skin with her sudden outburst. “It’s not the spell…. it’s who wrote it. She’s a witch.” Sierra turns the book, sliding its heaviness around to face us again and taps at the bottom right of the second page somewhat excitedly; at a little symbol that looks like it was burned into the page with hot metal. It’s tiny, a small flowing L and C surrounded by a vine design that wrap it into one continuous form and is unusually pretty.

And when he saw what was inside, without hesitation, he left the treatise to himself, otherwise he probably would not have been able to obtain permission to study it. “Tome” (despite the small format, I wanted to call the book that way) bore a title in an approximate translation that sounded: “The beginnings of mind magic in all its diversity. Features of the impact on people, true werewolves and werewolves initiated, running with wolves, demons and ghosts. The full list of objects for the application of spells always plunged Lorenzo into shock. What was the difference between true and initiated werewolves remained a mystery, the possibility of mental influence on demons and ghosts seemed to

Slamming her against the wall and getting into a hot make out session probably wasn’t the smartest thing to do since she already had the wrong idea but I needed a distraction and the girl was hot. Heading home after school I found mum, reading at the kitchen table. “What’s that?” pointing to the book in her hand. “A new book of conjuring spells I acquired from a coven up north, I’m just verifying if its legit or a fake” she answered “So, which one is it?” I asked “it’s real and extremely rare, I will need to keep this one out of human hands and in my special collection, if in the wrong hand it could be dangerous” She answered

I prayed he missed something. "Here are twenty more books about magic, hybrids, spells, and anything else related to the rare and unusual." Barry walked in with his three sisters, Conner, and Tina. "Thanks." I said, barely lifting my head from the book I was reading. It was an ancient separation spell that witches stopped using long ago. It was powerful enough to completely remove a supernatural spirit in one ritual, but usually left the victim unconscious for years.

Maybe some spell I can use. I keep flipping through the pages filled with my mother’s elegant handwriting until I come across a section on protective magic. The section is towards the back of the book and it has a boldly written title: *Knowledge against physical harm. This requires wolfsbane (purified), silver dust, flower petals of devil’s trumpet, and the spellcaster’s blood…* Spellcaster’s blood? I keep reading through the instructions carefully. It’s complex, but it’s doable. I can gather the ingredients and perform the spell to create protective charms for my father. Doing that will—

We stopped in front of a particularly large shelf and he leaned against a nearby desk, his muscles flexing under his shirt. “There are some spells that all witches can do and then there are the spells that a witch can create themselves depending on their level of power.” he strides towards me all broad shoulder and muscle before he leans against one of the desks. “What I need to find out is if Odette created the spell or if it already exists. If it is written in these pages,” he surveyed the room, his hand gesturing to the countless books. “The anti spell will be written here.” I nod my shoulders dropping as I look at the thousand of books, thinking where on earth would we start as I imagine
