Regina Opening my eyes, I came face-to-face with a giant black wolf, its penetrating brown eyes locked onto mine. Its fur was sleek and glossy, reflecting the moonlight that filtered through the dense forest canopy. I could sense a primal intelligence emanating from this majestic creature as if it held ancient wisdom within its gaze.

Another guy stood up, "I'm Ralph Bensen, a member of the beta hounds pack too. I like trekking. If you like to go trekking sometime, I'm pleased to help you." Lucian hit on Ralph's shoulder and made him sit in his place. "I'm Jacob Elrod, member of stealth Mane pack." "I'm Teo, a human." looked at the guys beside him and made a smile at me. "I'm Rudina Hart, alpha female of a howling jaws pack. Nice to meet you, Ms Hopper." Why are there so many werewolves in this class than humans? I saw the guy who helped me from the bus terminal to the school. The talkative guy? He's in this class too?

He was here. Ragnar saw him too, and his expression twisted into something ugly and unhinged. “Brother,” he called mockingly. “You came just in time to watch her burn.” Wulfrick didn’t answer. He didn’t need to. The growl that tore from his chest was pure fury, vibrating through the clearing and sending a wave of terror through everything that heard it. Before Ragnar could react, Wulfrick lunged. They collided with brutal force, rolling across the ground, snapping and striking in a violent blur. Firelight flashed across claws and teeth as the other wolves closed in, cutting off Ragnar’s escape.

She lifted her face to the sky and called for her mate. Trentity wolves have a light greyish fur with black tips on their paws, ears, and nose. Usually, the wolf and human share the same color eyes. Another tell-tale sign of what we are, as if it were necessary. Within a few moments, an enormous reddish-brown wolf with yellow glowing eyes was in front of us. Roxy moved closer and rubbed her body against Rafe's side.

“This will let her out. Let her remember what she was meant to be.” I took it. The glass was cold against my palm. “If I drink this, if I let my wolf out, I will not be able to control her.” “Good. You do not need control. You need rage.” I uncorked the vial. The scent hit me. Earth and blood and something wild. Something that called to the broken parts of me. I drank. Fire exploded through my veins. My wolf surged forward. Not submissive. Not weak. She was fury and teeth and claws that had been caged for too long.

Lana's gasp of terror could be heard as she looked out the window, Maddie's cries still audible over the sound of my snarling and the rogues' growling as they closed in. "Maddie go in your bedroom, sweetheart," Lana called softy, and the shake in her voice gave me all the motivation I needed to lunge forward, taking down the biggest wolf with me. The wolves around us howled and yipped in excitement as our teeth and claws collided. They weren't prepared for the kind of fight I was willing to give to protect my family. I latched my teeth down, getting a hold of his throat as he kicked and bucked to get me to release my jaw.
