His head lifts, eyes glowing with that same dark shade, and he lets out a growl that shakes my bones. Then the others appear. They come out of the tree line like shadows, learning how to walk. Three. No, four. Their bodies move with a kind of silent coordination that screams danger. Their eyes lock on me for one terrible moment before Ryan lets out a growl that sounds like a challenge, shifting their attention to him from me. Ryan lunges first. He hits the biggest wolf with a force that sends both of them tumbling across the dirt and dried grass. The sound of teeth clashing fills the air. Claws scrape the earth. Growls twist together into something primal.

Ryder order his pack to step outside allowing the wolf into they territory. Rohan, the cunning leader of the rogue wolves, stood in the cover of the dense forest, hidden from prying eyes. Joy surged within him as he watched his pack members skillfully infiltrate the boundaries of the Moonstone Pack. It had taken months of careful planning and covert maneuvers, but they had finally succeeded in their mission.

No matter the feeling towards the hunters, there was one thing the wolf nation couldn’t stand, and that was rogues. Twisted wolves, shaking, foam at their jaws, eyes gone wrong. No pack structure. No sense. Just hunger and fury. His squad spread, forming a wedge between the rogues and the sanctuary doors. The rogues lunged. Ronan met the first one mid-air, slamming it aside and snapping its neck in one smooth motion. Another came in from his blind side, but Xavier was faster, a streak of fire and fur that crashed into the rogue, sending it tumbling, charred and broken.

We carry packs that stay on us in wolf form and avoid cameras until we can dump them. Then we loop through the areas covered with trial cameras to give the rangers data. Anytime the cameras are moved we know about it since we are the volunteers and workers who move them. We make sure to give the rangers plenty of data every year so they don't begin to worry or investigate.

“Rafael… Rafael’s army has arrived.” Killian’s forces tried to regroup, but before they could, another wave of wolves appeared. This time, they came from the south. Leading them was a massive red wolf, its fur blazing like fire under the bright sun. The wolf stood on a rocky outcrop, her stance commanding as she let out a powerful howl. The sound echoed across the battlefield, sharp and clear, like a command. Half of Killian's army froze at that, their movements stopping as if held by invisible chains. She howled again, louder this time, and something incredible happened—the warriors turned toward her. Slowly, they bowed, then, without hesitation, rushed to join her side.

There has been nothing over the link from any of the patrols. Six grey wolves with matted fur and a rabid, empty darkness in their eyes, come barrelling between the trees. “Rogues.” I call our at the top of my lungs and over the open link with the rest of the Elite Warriors. My clothes rip and fall from my body as my wolf erupts to the surface. Six rogues is nothing for Uriel and I, but if more follow, we will need our men to have our backs. “How the fuck did they get past the patrols?” Uriel seethes as his wolf runs beside mine.

I didn't want to die so I fought the best I could, and so did Ralph but he had gotten injured and his performance was reducing. "Ralph!!" I screamed as more rogues covered his body, they were going to kill him!! That was until more wolves came out of nowhere, the one that caught my eye was a black wolf with vicious red eyes and a white once with silver eyes and they were killing rogues relentlessly. Especially that black one, it was almost unstable. More wolves came out and I was relieved, it must have been back up.

Even if she wasn’t banished it could possibly be that we exiled someone she cared for. I had been reading nearly fourty or so minutes when Paul came in. His expression looked a bit concerned. Worried I asked him, “ What if anything could you find out?” “ I found out a few things that are a bit odd and concerning. It turns out the pack they are registering is called Ash Wood and has many supernaturals not just Werewolves. They also have many Spell-casters, Vampires and even have Hunters in their so called pack!”

I lay on the gas, make a couple jumps and I’m close enough. I raise the gun back up and line up my sights when I see something beyond the rogue. It’s a territory marker. Shit. We’ve reached the pack lands. I can’t risk the shot now. My only hope is to keep chasing him in case he turns back and gives me another chance. Maybe I can turn him around if I get a good enough angle on him. I’d be screwed if one of my shots ended up hitting one of the pack wolves. Normal tranquilizers won’t do anything but these are special. Made specifically to knock out the wolf side and put the human side to sleep. No wolf means no extra strength, speed, or increased healing capabilities. Much easier to work with
