Zhen poked his furry nose out of my pocket. “Aw, wolveie, you missed all the excitement.” Zhen whined, affronted, before flying out to wind around Moon’s throat above his collar like a shimmering scarf. “I missed you too, Wolverine,” Moon smirked. When Zhen bit him, he laughed indulgently like it’d been a hickey. Maybe it was the wolve equivalent.
