The refrigerator alone could fit three people inside; it's a tall, shiny monster with a glass door that hums quietly.
The smell of onions fills the air, mixed with the sharp tang of garlic and the faint sweetness of something frying in olive oil. The air feels warm from the cooking heat, soft and heavy with flavor.
I walk over to the refrigerator and open it, my mouth falling open at the sight inside.
Rows of ice cream tubs line the shelves chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, pistachio, and mango. Next to them, boxes of chocolate bars are neatly stacked beside bottles of sparkling water, cream, fruits, and rows of neatly labeled containers.
