Nora shrugged and chuckled. Alice snarled. Reggie and Fred walked in. "What happened? Fred said it was very important," Reggie said as soon as he walked in. "What's with the urgency in your tone? Relax it's nothing serious, just that our lives might be in danger," Nora said calmly. "What?!" The three of them said in unison. "Y.. you me..an we're going to d.i.e," Alice struggled to get the words out of her mouth. "You call that not serious?" Reggie yelled.

The figure gestured for them to enter. The figure’s voice hissed and crackled like a campfire in the wind. The voice of the figure was that of several women talking at the same time, their tone high and raspy. Outside, a storm was brewing, a low rumble of thunder and the flash of lightning illuminating the sky. The world fell silent for a fleeting moment, then exploded with the power of the heavens. Reina and Russe stepped cautiously inside the cabin, their eyes adjusting to the dimly lit interior. A fire crackled in the hearth, casting flickering shadows across the room.

The world burned. Flames roared across the ridge, devouring wood, stone, and flesh alike. The air grew thick with smoke, the heat blistering against my skin. Soldiers stumbled back, coughing, shields raised not against steel, but against the inferno itself. And through the fire, he came. Erebus.

If Hon thinks having dangerous allies by his side would win him this war, then he hasn't really seen real danger.” I turned to Sinclair, "Alpha Sinclair here has something more dangerous than shapeshifters. How did you manage to have them in your possession?" He asked, his voice calm yet it dripped with curiosity.

That was also why our security was the best in the whole city. I only found out in my last life that, after the world was hit by the deadly heatwave, a lot of desperate people showed up. In the apocalypse, humanity meant little. Everyone answered only to themselves. But our community was the only one that never got attacked by any looters, all thanks to the top-notch security forces here. Those who had slandered me, those who had hurt me, and those who had once mocked me had all turned to dust in this disaster.

They were not just smoke—they were millions of tiny dragons capable of crushing our ship. Lucas’s mechanical army began fighting them one by one. In that clash of blue light and black fire, even the stars of space seemed to dim in fear. I struck at the dragons with my silver sword, but they were immortal!
