"You waste my time with distractions?" Wrath stepped forward, his massive frame tense. "We made an error, my lord, but it is being corrected. The goddess will be ours." Nihil's hand shot out, and Wrath froze as an invisible force gripped him by the throat. "Errors," Nihil hissed, "are unacceptable." He slammed Wrath into the ground, the impact shaking the cavern. "Do not test my patience." The other spirits stood frozen, too terrified to intervene. Envy clenched her fists, her usual bitterness overshadowed by fear. Pride looked as if he wanted to speak but thought better of it. Gluttony muttered something incomprehensible, gnawing on his knuckles.
