Living in a World of Black and White

Living in a World of Black and White

I need to finish the article that I am doing and submit it before the deadline. Earlier in the morning, I saw an article saying that there is a contest for writing an essat about the effects of climate change in the economy and health of the people. Their prizes ranges from $200 - $1000. I did not waste the chance. Of course, if I will win in the said contest, my article will be featured in a famous magazine, which is Fancy Magazine, and the cash prizes that are waiting for the winner. After several minutes, I finally finished my article and submit it immediately to their email address. Good thing that my brain is working flawlessly today. I did not experience a writer's block and the flow o

Instead of motivating them to accomplish big things, however, I was motivating them to sell magazine subscriptions. After my opening spiel came the presentation of the “prizes” they could win, based on their sales. Smaller prizes for “Sellers of the Week.” Cheap trinkets, honestly. Likewise cheap trinkets for “Highest Sellers of a Brand.” For example, say one kid sold the most Ladies Home Journal subscriptions? A cheap prize for their troubles. The Sellers of the Month got slightly better prizes, not as cheap as Sellers of the Week, but still lame. Sellers of the Year usually got a cash prize, but I always noticed the kids who won that were from rich families where Mommy and Daddy probably s

After all, he was my numero uno fan. “Not really… well, kind of. My manager told me about this competition all over the States when I went to submit my draft to her, it’s about writing an original novel on any genre the writer prefers. Whoever wins—I think there will be one from each genre—will get their book published nationwide and sign a five-year contract with one of the famous publication houses.” I explained. “Ah! That’s great! You decided on what to write yet?” he asked curiously, laying his head on my lap as he did so. “I could give you—”

Very much enjoyed this story! Great dialogue, characters & storyline. Did not drag out with ridiculous plot twist or misogynistic action against the female lead. Plot was whimsical, but nicely done. No excessive, but stupid chapters. Kudos to a job well done! Thanks!

I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day. It was compelling, the characters were well written, and I loved the FL (by the end). Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!! I’m going to read more by this author, for sure!!

Owen. “Why don’t you two join the upcoming maths contest?” Mr. Owen asked them. Lillian looked at him, surprised. “Us?” she asked him, surprised. “Yes.” Mr. Owen told her with a smile. She looked at Zack, but he was just staring out the window blankly. Mr. Owen looked at the two. “Well, if you don’t want to compete, then it’s fine. But 1st place get a thousand bucks, 2nd gets five hundred buck and 3rd gets 200 bucks plus gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.” Mr. Owen told them.

But amidst the sea of quirky and questionable inventions, I was confident that my app stood out as a shining beacon of brilliance. Needless to say, I won the competition. But don’t be happy for me yet because I did not receive the prize money. I had promised my mom and brother that I would give them the money to help with our upkeep. I waited for weeks and I emailed them almost every single day. Nothing happened. The silence from the competition organizers was deafening. Each day felt like an eternity as I waited anxiously for a response, but my inbox remained empty. Since they announced me as the winner, they did not say a word.

Saying this he disconnects the phone. While everyone is sitting and talking in Tanya's house. It is under your control, you yourself see what to do," Shivam replied without looking at him. "Hacking competition, Tanya asked in shock." When she was so shocked, Tanmya replied, "Every year our company organises a hacking competition and the winner is given prize money and also a job in the company.”

This book is one of a kind…well written full of suspense and thrill. Not a floppy romance story where the leading character always festured as an underdog, no backbone…at least Liliana is portrayed with integrity and humbleness .........
Elvyne Carantes
I CANNOT RATE THIS BOOK YET. I HAVE TO READ UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF IT. I HOPE IT WILL NOT REACH A THOUSAND CHAPTERS LIKE THE OTHERS THAT I'VE STARTED READING AND EVENTUALLY I STOPPED BECAUSE OF THE SCHEMES AND TWISTS WHICH DRAGGED THE STORY THAT MAKE IT BORING.

Regrets Come Too Late

Regrets Come Too Late

"If you have another skill, you can enter the contest." "Whoa, first prize is ten thousand dollars!" the colleague on Sierra's left suddenly gasped. "They're really going big for the tenth anniversary!" Sierra glanced over. Only then did she notice that Morgan's secretary had sent a new message in the group chat. First place, ten thousand dollars. Second place, five thousand dollars. Third place, two thousand dollars. If the group was made from five staff or fewer, each person gets a two-hundred-dollar participation reward. If the group had more than five staff, it would be counted as a performance by the entire department, and the department would get one thousand dollars instead.
