A Flash Marriage: Moving on With Someone New

A Flash Marriage: Moving on With Someone New

Without arguing further, I pulled out my phone and opened my payment app. "This is a custom-made hair clip my husband ordered from Froise. It cost 8,800 dollars," I stated matter-of-factly. "But since we're all friends here, I'll round it down to 8,000 dollars. You can Venmo me." Isabelle froze, her face pale as she glanced desperately at Elliot. His friends erupted in outrage, practically spitting in my face as they shouted at me. "Are you kidding? 8,000 dollars for a hair clip? You've got to be making this up because you're bitter about Eli's confession!"

Yearning for Her Return

Yearning for Her Return

"If I recall correctly, they're up in the next game. The club has rebranded to the Flashfocus Esports Club—Flashfocus for short. They'll play against Blindstrike later. If they win, they'll compete with our club, CalX, tomorrow. If they lose, they'll place third this competition season." Rebecca followed Caleb's gaze. Her gaze settled on words written with a golden marker on the banner. A fan had written those encouraging words for Flashfocus. The club had many fans, based on how often their name got mentioned on the banner. Rebecca couldn't help smiling as she glanced at the banner. She was happy with what Caleb told her. Flashfocus had worked hard. Although they wouldn't get the score they

Ellen Addawe
I like the depth of this book, the character of the FL wherein she learns a lot in her life experiences, her moving on from the past and enjoying her life in the present. Not the typical love story wherein after all the heartaches, betrayal & rejection, still the FL gives the ML a second chance.

I stopped reading this book the moment Rebecca got married to someone else and Daniel is dying of late stage cancer, after all he suffered in the hands of his evil brother and family, I expected a happy ending for him and Rebecca but the writer chose other wise. He doesn't deserve this tragic ending

Aunt Molly took this time to whisper lowly, “you’re going too?” A large grin made its way to my face, nodding as I tightened my hold on my bag strap. “Yes!” she whisper squealed. She knew exactly what this meant for me, “Remember sweetheart, clear shots,” she quickly reminded in a low voice, glancing at the kitchen entrance, “be swift, careful and precise.” I nodded, “I know, I know. I won’t blow this.” I reassured her. We both squealed again in excitement, “it’s going to be front page, I can feel it. And you’re going to be top three, “She added, her eyes bouncing with untold joy.

The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

There was a look of disbelief in Mobius' eyes as he recovered from his surprise, while a black flash shot past his face. "Eh?" The black flash stopped Frank's outstretched finger, but it dispersed soon after. However, it allowed Mobius to thrust his rapier forward with a battle cry, launching over a dozen strikes at Frank's position. "I got him… wait?!" Mobius was watching as he stabbed into Frank, only for Frank's figure to blur and eventually disappear as Mobius watched. "An afterimage?!" Even as Mobius realized that, he felt a rush of wind behind him!

Flash marriage: falling hard everyday

Flash marriage: falling hard everyday

I should’ve just walked out silently like a ghost. “Hm. Alright,” he said, slipping his hands into his pockets and strolling toward the far corner of the house. He moved quickly, almost like he was running from something. Weird. Whatever. It didn’t matter. I had cravings—bad ones. Fruits, sweets, crunchy stuff. I had to go get them. Trouble might be coming for me, but before I face that storm... Let me enjoy something first. Let me eat. ... I paid the cab man and thanked him before walking toward the store. I was just at the front yard—hadn’t even touched the door—when it suddenly swung open.
