Rhapsody for a Wolf
I take a breath to strengthen my tattered patience, glance to the side, then stop, and turn, and stare in appreciation.
It is a suit, on a mannequin, in a shop window. Dark blue with a very subtle grey flecking. Sharply but carefully tailored to give mobility without looking baggy. Single breasted, wide lapel. High cut armhole. Subtly tapered legs. James Bond would wear a suit like that.
“Aiden,” I say, not taking my eyes off the suit. The word draws the attention of the rest of the Pack as well. “I think I can see the perfect suit for you. Right over there.”
