It was on Xena and a final decision that I would not look for my mate. Xena was going to die one way or the other— I did promise her protection but that was if she had given in to the end of the deal and since she could not— it wasn't like she chose the gender of the child but a deal was a deal. And she didn't stick to it, so keeping her alive was her every day Christmas.

“Fine, fine. Let’s just let this issue go. It might really be a misunderstanding! By the way, Xena, you need to drink less and control your words. After all, misfortune comes from the mouth. Do you understand me?” Fiona looked at Xena, thought about it and said, “Oh yes, I heard that a lot of people died in the woods outside of the house yesterday. Is it possible that they were killed by Fane?” Xena immediately said in surprise, “Really? No way! I had no idea. No wonder I couldn’t reach my friend’s via phone. Fane must have killed them to get the money back!”

Xena let out a soft laugh, as if enjoying a private joke. “Once you’re dead, I’ll marry Sean with my child in tow. The entire Xander family will rely on me to keep their status afloat.” Her voice dropped into a whisper. “It won’t be long before they forget they ever had a daughter named Layla.” She clicked her tongue in mock pity. “You really are hard to kill, though. Surviving those two lowlifes and still making it back here? I have to admit, I didn’t see that coming.”

The counters were dusted with flour. Two mixing bowls sat in the sink. And we were laughing over my failed attempt at slicing mushrooms evenly. “I swear they looked identical when I cut them,” I defended. “They absolutely did,” Evelyn teased. “They just… changed shape afterward.” Just then, footsteps echoed through the hallway. Xavier appeared and he stopped as soon as he entered. He looked at the kitchen, looked at us, then back at the kitchen. One eyebrow slowly lifted slightly. “Hmm.” “What?” Evelyn asked innocently.

His face had turned pale, his lips slightly blue and grey patches under his eyes. He looked… ’Dead, he looks dead’ Xena whimpered in my mind, her pain exuded in waves from her body and entangled itself with mine, my pain, and my anger, amplifying it. He’s not dead, not yet, we can save him ’For the price of our lives’ Is that going to be a problem for you? Xena growled, lowering her head, had I been another wolf it would've been seen as a challenge. But seeing as we are the same, she just showed me how pissed of she got at my comment.

He pants hard, heaving for the lack of air in his lung, barely mouthing any words, bending on his knees before he pushed he straightened his back forcefully. "Your mother, Mrs Xena Grey," his brows deepened, averting his eyes from her furious one, "... she's dead." Gasps were heard. My own two feets paralleled her the moment she winds towards the white tent, pushing through the ruckus until it ends near a bed. "Mother!" She wailed, voice scratching off her throat, throwing herself beside the covered body. Her fingers trembled, tightly clutching on the cloth veiling Xena's being as if her life depends on it.

"You're seeking death! Go to hell!" "Die, Xena!" In that instant, Fiona and Myles launched a joint attack, targeting Xena's vital points. Xena gritted her teeth and unleashed her full power, throwing herself into a deadly battle against them both.

Olivia greedily sniffed the familiar crisp and clean scent on his body and tightly held onto him, crying loudly in his embrace. She was just a moment away from death.She’d almost been separated from him forever. The two hugged tightly together and at this moment, two bright headlights shone on them. It was Xenia. She had a knife in her chest but still managed to come driving towards them through the small open space in the woods. “Haha, I want to knock you to your death. I want you all to accompany me in death! I need to avenge my child, I must avenge my lost soldiers and technologies. You all must die”

Waking to see myself at Craitan was worse than death”. She realized she was away from home, her children and she didn’t get to save her husband from ambushing Craitan soldiers. It dawned on her, painfully, that he’d not make it after many years. She recounted how she’d been taking care of properly as the Craitan King thought she’d give up important information on Galdrish military.

“It’s time to end this. Kaden needs to die.” And Xena would follow soon after. There is no universe, no realm where I let her live after everything she’d done to me, but Mother didn’t need to know that part of my plan.
