Evelyn grabbed Xena by the collar and coldly replied, "If you dare touch my dad, I'll kill you!" Xena sighed dramatically, "Oh, I might as well be dead! My own daughter not only doesn't recognize me but also wants to kill me." With many colleagues passing by in the underground parking lot, all eyes turned toward them as Xena made a scene.

Chapter35 Xena's POV. I had spent my time inside the room shading tears. I couldn't believe that my mate had tried to kill me and if his wolf didn't intervene, I would have been gone by now. I sighed angrily, I hadn't expect this to happen. My wolf on the other hand tried to console me. She advice me to go out for dinner as Jenna had said but I refused. "I want to stay indoor." My lashes were wet from my tears and my eyes red from constant crying. I didn't want to be consoled. If dad was alive, none of this would be happening.

But her life came to an end 12 years ago. The biography only stated that she died in a major accident. There were no more details about it. 12 years ago... Could it be that she met Mason at the cemetery during Xena's funeral? Complicated emotions surged within Summer. After that, she looked up Xena some more, finding a photo this time. Xena looked like a very beautiful girl, and she had dimples on her cheeks as she smiled. Summer had often heard Henry calling her an angel when she was young. "I think the one who is gonna die is you. Get her!" And instantly his guards began to chase her round the dull point. She came close to Levi's spot and as she faced the opposite way to fight the guard, Xavier stabbed her.

“Xena, say that again. Have you grown bold because no one has beaten you lately? Hand over the money now or I will beat you to death.” He raised his hand as a warning. Xena understood what he meant. If she did not give him the money today, he would really hurt her. Even though she was terrified, she lifted her chin and spoke each word slowly and clearly. “I said it. I will not give you a single cent. If you want to kill me, then kill me. If I die, that money will automatically go to charity. You still will not get a penny.”

He cruelly said, “I know how strong the explosives are since I was the one who put them there. Anyone who was inside is dead now, so you should just follow me from now on. Don’t think about him anymore. He’s dead!” Xena had fallen to the ground earlier from the impact of the explosion. At this moment when she heard Howard continuously repeating that Simon had been killed, anger was surging up in her chest.

His eyes were bloodshot, like they were about to bleed. Vivian walked in holding a sheet of paper. It was a healer's report.
