I noticed Gilbert moved and that got me to wonder why he acted that way. I could only come to one conclusion which is that, though he has always treated Xavia with disdain and has hurt her at every chance he got, there are some affections from him towards her. I could also tell how he guided her with all jealousy and that got me wondering, why he would treat her badly and still care for her at the same time.
