"But we're just in time to see the one we're landing on." Behind them, a door opened. Standing there was a man in an old-fashioned yellow raincoat, holding a pipe. "Welcome to the end of the book, kids," the Fisherman said. "Ready to see what's left of home?"

She finds socks then sneaks her feet in pastel pink rain boots. Pearl gets the miniature version — a pink rain coat and four small boots — and submits to the process with the dignified resignation of a dog who has decided her person is eccentric but well-meaning. I successfully unlocked the door and we walked out of the building to the main street. From the corner of my eyes, I noticed Yuri walking out after us. She no longer bothered to fix her hair as the blood rain was going to ruin it anyway. Suddenly, we spotted a mob of people coming our way. They looked angry and I wondered if we were going to be able to control them.

Keanu got off, seemingly unaware that Charlotte's car was following him. "Give me the umbrella," Charlotte ordered, and the driver handed her the umbrella from the dashboard compartment. She opened the door and extended the umbrella, walking briskly but carefully, following Keanu's footsteps as he entered a residential area. Keanu didn't use an umbrella and allowed himself to get soaked in the rain. Then, he turned towards a house with pale yellow paint. A young woman greeted him with a joyful hug. Keanu gently patted her head and returned the embrace.
