“I’m preaching about God’s true love and compassion for mankind, for God first loved us before we loved him. Brethren, let’s not forsake such a great love. Alleluia!” “Ameeen!” roared back the congregation. “And today, we have that vine with us, the God that existed from the foundation of the world. He is also the Lord of Sabbath, and he shall grant you rest from all your sins and curses, and the labour of your soul. Look, all he needs from you is your heart, that you may love him with the whole of your heart and soul and your neighbour like unto yourself. The word of God in the book of John, chapter fifteen, verse one to five, speaks about this true vine."

She continued, "Even during the most difficult times in my life, I persisted in praying to God every day, and I used this scripture to encourage myself, reminding myself that God will never abandon me!"
