The Alpha's Hot Chase After Divorce

The Alpha's Hot Chase After Divorce

Nothing but change, my people. He finished speaking, then squeezed my mother's arm, another action that I found increasingly irritating. "And sir, before you go. Where is your son? You speak about your family, but you are incomplete at the moment." He smiled, then looked at the camera again. "What did I say about change? My son is out there, in the lab, trying to make the city a better place. Change starts with us, personally, it begins with our families. If we desire this transformation, then we need to take the bull by the horns." He paused, then made eye contact again.

“Change- there should be a change in all this starting from the top. We should change this government and the people who run it. Then go down to the masses. There’s a big overhaul we are expecting, Mr. Martin, an overhaul, especially in our mentality. So many people are lazy or plainly contented at having nothing. Any help could come in any way to propel the change I’m talking about.” “Change is forgetting the past, to focus all your energy on the present in building the future of your country. How will you propel that change?” asked JC. “We know it needs a stronger force to do it, but we don’t have the firepower to fight against a very formidable force,” said Fr. Sin. Enlightened finally o

Bonds at War: The Untouched is Mine

Bonds at War: The Untouched is Mine

“That’s the first time tonight I’ve heard those words. Everyone else just keeps saying congratulations or asking what I’ll do next.” “It’s normal,” I said, finally pulling my arm back. This time, he let go. “The people have been hurting for a long time. They’re hopeful. And expectations make people… forget to be grateful.” His head tilted a little, thoughtful. “You’ve been trying to help this country,” I continued, “but you couldn’t, not fully, because of the Roses’ power. Now that you finally have authority, you can actually change things.” I pressed my lips together, glancing at the lanterns swaying above. “So I thanked you for what you’ve done so far. But I also hope you become better. Fo

Unique story line, well written and very intriguing. Far better than a lot of other stories on here. I love a strong heroine, I love her even more considering she has managed to become a person who note only can stand up for herself and others but also isn’t afraid to accept help.

Does anyone know if this story has a reverse harem? I’m not into that and it doesn’t have the tag in the description but it’s so many guys pinning for her attention that I would y be surprised if it goes that route later. I’m assuming the story isn’t far along enough for anyone to know tho

Science fiction: The believable impossibilities

Science fiction: The believable impossibilities

What is it teaching its own people? A nation is not great by great sportsmen in any way, but by scientists who work hard all day to change the whole place. What parents teach is not money, not to be money-minded, but real life and fulfilled dreams. But who will listen? Youth is astray. Does media play its part?

Nothing Has Ever Changed

Nothing Has Ever Changed

Not wanting to disturb his father’s rest, he respectfully waited until Cedric woke up. When Cedric gave him an approving look, his smile widened. Then, he shot a look at Eden, who was just stepping out of the kitchen. “I want to change my surname. “I want to take Daddy’s surname! Or maybe I can take Amelie’s…” “Enough of this nonsense! “Do you think real life is some kind of cartoon? You can’t just change your surname on a whim! You’re seven years old, use your head!” Cedric cast a look at Eden while reprimanding Mateo. It was only when he noticed her blank expression that he dropped the aggression in his voice.

That One Item Changed Everything

"Hello, everyone. My name is Mallory. A year ago, I went through a tough time. Someone stole my belongings, destroyed my things, slashed photos of my family, spread rumors that I had a sugar daddy, and even incited thousands of people to attack me publicly. They wrapped their actions in a grand excuse—'resenting the wealthy' and 'seeking justice.' But in truth, it was jealousy. It was plain cruelty." I paused, letting my gaze sweep across the room. "My dad taught me to be humble and kind. But that experience taught me something important. Kindness needs an edge. When you face injustice and harm, silence isn't golden—fighting back is the best way to protect yourself. I hope this foundation be

The night everything changed

The night everything changed

I was alone, terrified, and barely holding on. But I refused to let fear win. I picked myself up, went back to school, and fought for a better life. Balancing motherhood and classes wasn’t easy, but I did it. I graduated, packed up my life, and moved to New York City with Liam and Ava to start fresh. And now? Today was my shot at something new. After a quick shower, I dressed in my best outfit — a fitted black skirt and a white blouse that screamed hire me. I kissed Liam goodbye and headed out, nerves buzzing under my skin as I arrived at Diaz Tech Enterprise. The sleek glass building towered above me, intimidating and imposing.

The President's Mate

The President's Mate

I began, my voice steady, deep, carrying effortlessly through the sea of bodies packed into the square. Astria was the name of this proud nation I had claimed. Not just a country. My country now. The crowd erupted again, a frenzy that rolled outward to the very edges of the plaza, where barricades held back desperate hands and hopeful faces. "I stand before you tonight," I continued, "not as a man who seeks power for its own sake, but as one whom you have entrusted to shape the future of our great nation. To lead with strength, with vision, and with an unyielding commitment to every citizen standing here and watching across our land."

A Love Forged In Ruins

They wanted my image, my story, my struggle—but never my opinions. “You want my face,” I said quietly. “Not my voice.” Silas blinked, once. But he didn’t deny it. “Layla,” he said, “I know what it’s like to want to change the world. I’ve been there. You fight and fight until your voice is hoarse. But you can’t burn down the system from the outside. You have to walk into the fire. That’s how you change it.” I looked down at my hands. They were shaking slightly.

Yessss, love the drama in this book, I'm still reading and can't get enough of it! The family dynamic is dramatic and aggravating and that’s what makes this sooooo good. I don't think there's anyone more shameless than Layla’s mom. That woman annoys me!!!
Scarlett Rain
At first, I thought it was a typical revenge story, but the more I read, the more I grasped the complexity of the characters that were well described. It makes me more curious about Layla, a woman who is trying to figure out the scheme she finds herself in, and Damien, a man clouded in mysteries.

The Office Between Us

This was a story. She continued, her voice gaining strength, a quiet fire burning in her eyes. "But I learned something. I learned that being broken doesn't mean you're useless. It means you're being remade. I learned that the most profound change doesn't happen when things are easy, but when they are at their most difficult. I learned that true power isn't in what you own, but in what you can build. It's not in a title, but in a mission. It's not in a legacy you inherit, but in a legacy you create."
