I steadied myself, gripping the rungs tightly before letting out a long breath of relief. “Be careful!” Manolya scolded from below, though her tone was far more worried than angry. I didn’t seem fazed in the slightest. Instead, my eyes lit up with sudden curiosity as I peeked inside the book that had nearly knocked me out. The front page read: Beçin Chronicles: A History of the Byzantine Castle and its Mythical Beings. “It’s from the 1400s!” I exclaimed, my voice filled with pure excitement. Manolya could hear the frantic energy in my tone as I carefully flipped through the soft, worn pages.

I approached slowly, the heels of my boots clicking softly on the polished floor. Drawn like a moth to a flame, I skimmed my fingers across the titles etched on the spines. Tales of kings. Wars. Bloodlines. My gaze caught on a thick, weathered book left open on the desk. Its title was simple: Pack Histories and Blood Betrayals. A cold shiver rippled through me. I leaned over, my shadow swallowing the page, and began to read. At first, it was the usual: chronicles of battles, treaties, ascensions. But then, a word snared me, rooted me in place:

Myra’s pov “Hello..” I said with a gentle smile. “Good day ma’am.” The librarian said politely. “Could you help me find history books from the 130’s to 140’s?” I asked politely. “Sure..” “Do you have any specifications of what kind of books you need from those eras?” She asked. I swallowed. “Spell books.” My voice was a whisper. “You can only find the original of those at the museum.” She said politely.
