“My coven… they always said you were a monster.” Kael’s hands gripped her ass, guiding her to slide along his length. “They lied, little witch. And now the bond is changing you.” His voice dropped. “I can smell it. Your magic is mixing with wolf blood.” Before she could respond, he flipped them, settling between her thighs. This time there was no brutal rush. He kissed down her body—slow, worshipful. His tongue traced her collarbone, then lower, circling her nipples until she arched with soft moans.

Leslie groaned awake as Tara and Zak dragged a table across the shattered window and braced it with chairs. “Tom? You can’t be out of bed,” Leslie said, pushing up on her elbows. “Jakey, what’s happening? What are those animals?” “Werewolves,” Jake said, eyes not leaving the hall. “They’re real.” Tara peeled a slat of the front blinds. “They’re everywhere,” she whispered. “Sniffing. Hunting.” Zak joined her, jaw tight. “Can we make the car?” She checked—froze. “They’re ripping the W.R.X. to pieces.”

Synopsis At age 10, Tara Shin watched as her Alpha father was brutally murdered by Lorez Blackclaw and what was left of the Shin clan fell under his ruthless rule. Run away toward the feared monsters lurking in the dark wood or stay with the devil she knows?

All of them had yellow eyes. It was unusual to see them on the subway. Werewolves tended to live long lives which meant they usually had lots of money and lots of power. So why they were on a New York subway made Nora nervous. She didn’t like the way that they were looking at her either. In particular, the one in the middle, who was looking at her like… Like he wanted to eat her alive.

Somehow the desire and need still hadn’t left his eyes. I signed, turning back to the now drained mojito. Apparently I’d finished it and not even noticed. This shouldn’t have happened.
