I had noticed it before, but most of the werewolves were either old or as young as I was. There was the odd middle-aged couple, but they were far and few between. I wondered why. Had the other pack killed most of the fighting-aged adults? I hoped that wasn’t the case at all. It was hard enough worrying about Hunters, let alone fearing from other packs.
