Young Jonathan Davis Novels & Stories

“No, sir.” My nails were caught in the palm of my hand, and I resisted the urge to look up and confront him. Because the look made me realize that I had just “SEEN” the strange-looking man in front of me -- in the folder. He is George Davis’s nephew, Marvin Davis. First George Davis, now his nephew...What is this? They, the Davises, seemed to have taken over the packhouse, and we were drugged and put under house arrest like lost dogs.

he asked, his voice dropping into a dangerous, low whisper. "Davis is out of jail," I repeated, looking down at my shaking hands resting in my lap. "My father helped him get out this morning. He physically went to the holding center himself. He posted the bail money, and he has been working closely with Davis's family and their lawyers behind the scenes to make sure he was freed."

“Too tired? Father just stripped me of all authority over the Grand Horizon project. He said I’m the greatest failure in this family’s history. He gave my position to Davian.” The moment that name was spoken, the man himself emerged from the heavy teak doors of the meeting room. Davian walked with the stride of victory, his black suit immaculate—reflecting the image of a man who had just won a war without staining his hands with blood. He stopped beside them, looking at Vivian with a sickening display of false sympathy.

Her chest began to heave. “I know you think I did so against your wish, especially after everything,” Davis said, stepping toward her as she began to shake her head, retreating toward the wall. “But he happened to be under Elena's care all this while. He was living in a deliberate low profile. I only ask that you hear him out...” "Davis... no," she gasped, her voice cracking. "No, you didn't." But the sound of electronic wheels hummed against the floor. João appeared from the shadows of the hallway, slowly wheeling a man in a specialized chair.

Sparks crawled across my skin wherever he touched me. Another growl rumbled in Johnathan's chest. "Mine." I tilted my head up and saw that Johnathan's blue eyes were now black. I wasn't sure, but I think that meant that his wolf had taken over. Unforchanatly Davis seemed undeterred by Johnathan's behavior and looked bored. "That's all Davis. Go home for the rest of the weekend." Rachel called to him. Davis nodded, gave me one last creepy once over, and left.

"I want to be standing with you! But I can't be with someone who sees me as a project to be secured, or a casualty in waiting! I am a person, Davis. I have a life, I have a career, I have a future that doesn't involve being locked in a cage—even if that cage is made of 'safety'!" Davis stopped. He looked at me, and for a second, I thought I saw the man I loved peeking through the armor—the man who loved the smell of wood shavings, the man who listened to my endless rants about the Law of Equity, the man who held my hand on the dock. But then the flicker died, swallowed by the gray, rigid intensity of his vigilance. He leaned the shotgun against the wall. It was a concession, but it didn't fe

"Mr. Wright, I'm very sorry, but Miss Davis' records are sealed!" Revealed Aiden, the hacker Ethan employed to look into Samantha. "What do you mean sealed?" Ethan asked while holding up the phone to his ear. He was leaning back in his seat, utterly disappointed at the report given by Aiden. "Well, I have her basic details and it's like what you had thought. She is the daughter of General Winfield Davis," Aiden reported. "I found a marriage certificate between Miss Davis's mother, Sarah Turner, and one Winfield Davis."

He also got wounded by the broken fence when the man threw him into it. He had barely recovered when he saw the man coming for him. His eyes fell on the gun and he quickly grabbed it. Before he could think he had already pulled the trigger. The man stopped as the bullet went through his chest. Jonathan thought it was over but the man started walking towards him again. He moved backwards and fired at him, thrice and this time the man went down. "Drop your weapon, police," came Davis's voice. Jonathan dropped the gun to the ground and put his hands up in the air as Davis and the two other officers drew closer.

Mr. Davis was silent when he heard Danny's words. Especially when all the young entrepreneurs who came there laughed at him. "Ah, you're good at joking too. I guess I just have to get used to the life of a young kid who likes to come across,” Henry Davis said trying to calm himself. Danny Gibson immediately touched his shoulder and smiled sarcastically, “You think I'm joking? I don't think I have time for that, sir," he said then turned and called for his secretary.

Davis gritted his teeth and asked, 'Cotyledon, if you really like him, then dad will tell you to stay with him for you, okay? Jones Davis didn't expect Mr.Davis to be willing to do this for himself, and his eyes turned red. Mr.Davis didn't know about the situation between her and Hugo James, and thought that Hugo James refused to be with him, and he wanted to get back together but couldn't. When he said that, he almost put down his dignity and wanted to ask for a relationship for her. Jones Davis directly reached out and hugged Mr.Davis, with a little sob in his voice: 'Dad, you don't need to do this for me. I won't be with him anymore.'
